Well I'm currently with talkmobile which uses the Vodafone network I think

Overall v happy with talkmobiles £8pm been with them for 3+ years

How would bt mobile compare with talkmobile / Vodafone?

talkmobile though charge for voicemail whereas its free with bt - probably saves me 50p per month too

It will work, calls aren't made over 4g, well not yet anyway and 3g is well, 3g innit.

The phone will only use the 3G or 2G signals but that is not an issue, everything else will work.

BT use the EE network, which is miles better for a usable 3G signal compared to Vodafone. I'd recommend comparing coverage maps to see how signal might fare at your most frequented locations.

Well I signed up via top cashback - got £21 off which equates to roughly £3.5pm for the first 12 months of the contract !
