I don't mean from the viewers, I mean from the Housemates. Jade and Nick were equally involved in discussing nominations, and yet Jade is the one that the Housemates have all turned on. They seem to be quite pleasant to Nick.

I feel like Nick himself feels quite embarrassed about this. They were both stupid and inconsiderate, but you should either be angry with both of them or forgive both of them. I think that the issues with Jade are a lot more personal than simply annoyance because of nomination discussion, and I find this unfair.

most of them view nick as being under jades influence so she gets most of the blame. doesn't help that afterward he was very apologetic to everyone and jade was like ' oh well it is what it is"

Some of them disliked her long before the nom talk. She's not exactly friendly, and she was considered to be gloating over her luxury food.

Actually, it's a good point that Jade never actually apologised (that we saw anyway - it's entirely possible that she did and the producers cut it out to make the edit work). I think that she should have apologised, but only for letting the Housemates down with the rule break. I don't have an issue with her opinions on the other Housemates themselves - I thought the twins were quite out of order.

i do recall nick say that jade wasn't reacting the situation the right way...so i think it is a stretch to try defend jade by suggesting a bad edit.

honestly...she defends personality conflict by say she has a strong aura. doesn't really sound like the type of person will to except or even consider blame

It's interesting, because I do actually like Jade. I know a lot of people say 'I was myself' which is an excuse for just being nasty, but to me she isn't malicious at all. At a push you could say inconsiderate, but I don't think she has ever been deliberately unkind to anyone, she just talks to who she wants to talk to.

I do think she could have handled things with a bit more humility and apologised for talking about nominations, but at the same time I think if she had done that the others would have still been exactly the same way about it, as they just don't like her.

Actually Jade apologized on the spot. When BB was announcing the rule break, before Nick... at just under 2 minutes

Even if she was a saint, she is the woman in the situation, and so it'll be harder for her with both viewers and housemates, because apparently men don't have a mind of their own, and if they are led astray, it must be the fault of a woman. It doesn't help that Nick has figured out that if he plays that exact role, he'll get almost no heat at all.

He showed promise to begin with. I loved his 'patheticness' when I thought it was an act but - he really is rather pathetic.

Gone right off him.

Exactly she did apologise immediately and why oh why are men never held responsible for their behaviour on BB, its always some hapless females fault.

I think tonight has marked a shift. I'm seeing more support for Jade and less support for Nick.

I want this to be the case, but the public on the whole seem to think differently to that of the FM's on here.

How do you know what the public on the whole think? Is this just from personal sources, or what?

There weren't any 'Get Jade out' chants on Friday, they were all for Adjoa.

Joel's nomination reasons were spot on. If he was nominating one for a reason, he has to do the same to the other.

Harriet is on the right track with Nick, calling him out was good.

Jade's getting it on SOTS just now. Apparently she's using poor Nick and dangling him like s puppet on a string and btw, he's lovely.

I have noticed over the years, that a housemate can be hated on this forum. But on the whole, the public will vote to save that housemate, and actually like that housemate in the vast majority.

This is exactly what I am talking about George. Those beyond this forum, do not seem to be clued in at all. They go off of their years of social conditioning, instead of observation and looking a little deeper, and that sucks because it gets broadcast to the UK public - these views, and I don't doubt that they sway other members of the public to think the same way.

Also, Groundhogal, are we surprised?? What is even more sickening, is that Nick has figured out that being pathetic will work for him in life, because it is non-threatening. Add to that the fact that Jade is a fairly attractive women, and her fate is sealed. She's the threatening one, in the eyes of the public, which means she will take all of the heat.
