Joel nominating Nick
I thought that was pretty harsh.
He was closest ( from what we have seen ) to Nick for the first 11 days and because of one little annoying thing he nominates him. Aaron and Harriet have actually been horrible to him at times but he votes for someone who he has actually got on with the most. |

I really respected his decision - it's disgusting how many housemates are willing to blame the woman in a situation and ignore the guy (like Noirin and Siavash), so I'm glad he treated them equally.

He voted for Jade because of the noms talk and felt he had to also nom Nick as he was involved in that same drama.
Nothing personal. |

Because he was nominating Jade for breaking the rules he thought it would be hypocritical not to nominate Nick as well seeing as he was an active participant in the same incident.
I don't really like Joel but I liked that he did that. It was fair in the circumstances. |

I thought it was actually quite principled to put up both of them, given they were both part of the nominations discussion, and that seemed to be Joel's main reason for nominating Jade. Nick may have been influenced by Jade, but ultimately he's an adult who can make his own choices about who to associate with and what discussions to participate in. Nick seems like a nice guy, and in that respect being nominated is harsh, but maybe it's a lesson he has to learn.
The one mitigating factor for Nick was that he seemed far more contrite and apologetic when he and Jade were called out by Big Brother. Jade giggling and cuddling up to Keiren during BB's announcement was especially annoying. |

I think he's a conniving little bugger - he's sort of making me laugh at the moment but ..............I think he'll grate on me soon.

I think his nominations were fair and valid. If he hadn't nominated Nick he would have been a hypocrite, so fair play to him

I do think Joel is a typical politician though and is always going to pick a reasoned rational and logical reason for nominating. He isn't going to go with feelings. |

I think it was fair the way he did it because of his reasons for nominating Jade it only fits to choose Nick as he did the same. If he didn't pick jade then the others would have been big possibilities but I found his nom fair.
