Has anyone been able to get BT sport with one of these boxes
I recently changed my father in laws Sky box for one of these but it won't pick up BT sport when I do a channel scan
The only reason we changed to this was we where assured it would work.
His BT broadband gives him 8mb download

You have to be a BT TV subscriber to pick up BT Sport on a retail Youview box. Starts from £0 a month but with a £19 activation fee. http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/products/add-tv Or you can watch it free via your PC, Apple or Android device.

Oh wait... the above is for BT Infinity customers... it costs more for BT adsl broadband users:

Best to phone BT for the details, or have a look round their forum: https://community.bt.com/t5/YouView-Boxes/bd-p/YouView

He already pays for BT TV Essential pack ,which with a suitable broadband speed should give him access to BT sport

There is a box to tick saying you want BT Sport when you order a BT TV package online. So I assume you need to go online to tick the box as an update to your existing package.

You need to go on the BT TV forum then, link I posted above, join it and start a thread with your query/request, and if the members can't tell you what the fix is, you can ask one of the forum moderators (who are BT staff) to investigate, which they will do.
