Eastenders - Fatima
Would anyone else like to see Fatima become a regular in EE?
The actress seems to be good and has slotted into the Masood dynamic well already. Plus tonight there was definitely some romantic tension between her and Masood. |

I'm not sure how she could ever find it in her to love someone who beats their children. Maybe she's as much of a psychopath as he is.

She's so different to Zainab and I like her calm demeanour. The actress is originally from India but acts here as well. She had a small role in the Russell T Davies series Cucumber.

I like her! She's very Jane-like. But unless they bring something mad, bad, or slightly sad to the table then I can't imagine her being a successful character. EE doesn't do calm and rational. The only reason Jane has lasted so long is because Ian and his kids provide her with the mad, bad, slightly sad. The Masoods could probably do this with Fatima. They're in desperate need of a caring mother-figure, or a caring wife figure for Masood even. They'll be in a desperate, DESPERATE need for this figure when Roya comes in to play.

I like her, shes calm, understanding and beautiful, but as she is married to masoods brother im not sure that even if they divorce, her religion would frown upon her marrying her ex brother in law

I for one am sick of the Fatima show being shoved down our throats. I know DTC based it on his own family experience of his young mother dumping him at his Aunt's door step and her only managing to work it out 7 years later but it's really gone to far. People tolerated the Branning / Mitchell / Moon eras but the Fatima era is tired already.

I'd like Fatima to stick around for the foreseeable future. She's a nice character and I'd like to see her and Masood get together.

Although wasn't she more devout in her first incarnation, I seem to remember Imazaman was super conservative, weren't his wife and kids more covered up. Maybe I'm imagining that.

I have to say I like her, and she does actually have chemistry with Mas.
