He's coming across as so fake, he keeps reiterating how he's messed up and how upset he is.. screaming it from the rooftops! Very calculating and snakey, wants the sympathy vote for being an 'outcast'

Exactly. The guy is apparently a huge BB fan too so I'm sure he knows exactly which boxes to tick. Everything about him is off-putting and false.

He said the other night how he has never in his life had to think so much about what he is about to say. He tries so hard to get sympathy from everyone by acting like a fragile little puppy its getting annoying now. He is the fakest HM in there right now.

It's his shtick, how he freeloads along, hoping people feel sorry for him.

Like his pathetic reverse psychology on Chloe, "I'm not worthy to be your friend after this."

He is a bit wishy-washy. He reminds me a bit of Ben's (BB11) bumbling buffoon routine, but Ben seemed more endearing.

I've gone right off him. He showed promise at the start but he's beyond pathetic now IMO.

He's one of the good guys in there. He has a huge heart and cares about everyone. Obviously he's not going to be popular with the Jeremy Kyle watching public who want to see people gobbing off at the top of their voices, hurling insults and using chav slang at every opportunity.

Totally agree with all of the above comments. Hopefully more people will realise this too. He is ( in my opinion ) the biggest game player in there.

Like hell he does. He's openly admitted he's a BB fanatic who knows the 'game' inside out. Can't wait for his fakeness to unfold.

He also seems to think that being upfront about some of his underhand ways in the diary room, by classifying, 'But then that makes me a bad person. I'm being bad,' gets him off of the hook for the fact that he is, in fact, being a turd. He's pretty smart. But he's not getting past me, or any of the other FM's it seems.

Ben was an actual bumbling buffoon , there is no way he put that on , he has just led a different sheltered life than most people.

Notice when Jade and Nick are talking alone there is a kind of look of acknowledgement of each others games, even though one's game could ruin the others at any time.
I believe each of them manipulate the other housemates, except I think Nick probably knows he can't fully fool Joel, so will keep him on side. Nick's game is less intended to damage others, I think.

I agree entirely. He's not to the BB's 'average' viewers taste unfortunately. Far to...'normal' I guess, and yes, not 'chav' enough.

I like him and think he seems genuine for what that's worth.

So those of us who don't like him are 'Jeremy Kyle watching chavs'?

Jeez, that's a good one.

There's no way that's put on. He's been coping well up to this weekend, which has been tough for him (yes, he did bring it down on his own head). I can think of half a dozen in there who would have spent the weekend sobbing in the DR.

No way is he putting that on, you can just tell. The shaking, closing his eyes and looking at the ground, rubbing his hands through his hair. He clearly has confidence issues. I think this forum is always looking for HM's to be bad people when that isn't always true.

Typical lets ridicule all those who don't agree with me tactic. I didn't even respond to it, because it is so off the mark lol.

Segagamer, I don't doubt that his issues are genuine. But I definitely feel like he is aware of how it comes across, and is using it to his advantage and in a rather sly manner.

I think he is genuine too but his behaviour is exaggerated in the house as are most people's in that environment.

he's definitely overplaying, so cringey, he didn't lie in VT about himself though - pathetic and disloyal, but seems a lot of people prefered to just ignore it

If we were to take people's VT's seriously then every HM ever would be unlikeable.

I don't think he is forcing it, he is pathetic, and needs to man up, and if he is acting, he is good at it. I don't think you can act the trembling.

I hope he gets a chance to see how he shapes up as the weeks go on.
