Old Nick knows exactly what he's doing, he gets away with everything because after getting caught out being bitchy, discussing nominations or out and out lying he resorts straight back to the , looking to the ground, saying sorry, ruffling his hair, saying "you all hate me now", then says "im young, I need to learn".

It's all an act...this guy a BB superfan.

I like the character but fear you are correct in your assessment.

Spot on.

He's already told them all how much of a fan he is. If they used their noggins they would realise he is very good at what he's doing.

Same as he's also admitted to being a Twitter troll and indeed, even trolled the twins.

Just because he's a Big Brother fan surely doesn't mean that he is an arch manipulator

He may well have watched every single series of BB but he is not an actor and it's been proved time and time again that it's impossible to pretend to have a particular personality to appeal to viewers for any length of time.

If he was that manipulative, and knew what the viewers would have found appealing, he wouldn't have spent the first few weeks hanging off Jade. That's never worked for any house-mate.

Totally agree with you. He definitely would have done things differently if he was playing a game.
The weird thing is everyone on this forum could call themselves a BB superfan, or BB expert, so does that mean if any forum member was to go on BB at a later date then they are already 'playing the game' simply because they have watched and liked the show. Anyway isn't Nick a bit young to have watched every show they would have started when he was about four

Its not that he is a game player that i don't like(Game players can be fun to watch sometimes)...its his type of game. Its cringe to watch more like an Anton or Josie Gibson, the way he's trying so hard.

Also, dropping jade in it,after he heard the shout......not cool.

I thought we called that 'playing the game'? It worked well for Gina and Dexter and there are quite a few in there who are very conscious (Sarah mentions it's a game quite regularly and Harriet is constantly aware of the public watching them, to mention just 2) that they are in a game and trying to play it to the best of their ability.

I don't think that's something that can last beyond the first few weeks though (thinking JUST of the game), because eventually it becomes their life and they get embroiled in living, become emotionally involved with friendships, house dynamics change, etc.. Doesn't mean they forget that they are playing a game to win, but I think it becomes secondary to what's occurring within the house and trying to get through the experience and live it (if that makes sense).

If only we had the internet, eh?

I think he's watched it and knows how the show works, if that's playing a game then most of them are playing that game ... you can't apply for BB and not know what the show is and seen at least a series or two. If any of us went in there we'd be aware of how there can be a twist at any time, that we may have to bake our own bread and live off basic rations, we'd know that our nominations could be played out to the house at any point and so on.

His sniveling wounded hero act is getting very tiresome. I don't know why Jade puts up with him at all.

I've went right off him and his pathetic act.

I don't think it's forced, I think he probably just is a bit pathetic! I know that's horrible to say, and I don't dislike the guy, but he obviously has low self esteem- the way he went up to Jade and said she was way out of his league made me cringe so much, she's not even that pretty and her personality is even worse.

Never mind.

Not really most of them are available to watch.

I don't think he's forced, I think he's an insecure young man. Maybe I have fallen for it but I think he's genuine. One of the best housemate of all time, Aaron from BB12(?) was a massive game player but he was a fantastic housemate.

I liked him at first but he is fake as the toothfairy. hope he is out asap.

I tend to think its genuine , if he really was that switched on would he really spend all day in bed with Jade when he could be making friends and influencing other HMs.
