Put BOTS on to listen to a discussion about nominations and I get a pisspoor Aha covers band.

I'm quite liking the bands. 5ive were great last week.

I much prefer the Aha version of take on me but A1 had more success with it......... just with a different age group.

Me too- I love a bit of pop nostalgia - love Rylan getting in on it too. Great fun.

But what does it have to do with what just happened on BB highlights? May as well bring back tranny Geoff.

I liked it and it was A1. Would rather have them than that harridan Woodburn or the awful Goodman, who was only on it a week ago.

Well it was one of their hits. It's not like they are pretending they created the song, but their version of it was their best-selling single.

Was it really? But it is so similar to the original.

Yeah it was. A lot of covers from the pop groups of the early 00s were the same as the original. There was one group (can't think of the name of the song or the group which is annoying, Liberty X I think) that even the adlibs were the same.

Probably why I blanked it all out. Covers are great but put your own mark on otherwise it's just karaoke

They're still supporting Jack, bless him. They think he's adorable, bless him. They talk about him as if he was a child, bless him.

They think they're being nice. Really, they're just being patronising.
