Tracy saved Carla's life yet she's showing absolutely no respect to her whatsoever.

Carla sorted out Tracy's debts for her after she saved her in the fire. Yet she's acting like Carla broke her favourite vase or something.

I mean, seriously? These two should be best friends after how much they've helped one another. The whole Tracy-Carla character arc is totally unconvincing, unrealistic and unbelievable. It's just ignoring everything that has happened with the two characters as if the crash never happened.

BGT week needed a storyline. I think Tracy will change her mind anyway and the fire will be an accident.

If Tracy starts the fire then that WILL be ridiculous. Nobody would go from saving someone to trying to take their life.

She only saved Carla because the factory girls were present. The look on Tracy's face showed she would of been quite willing to let Carla fall to her death.

Carla did show her respect, but with someone like Tracy there is only enough times you can deal with her bullshit.

I must have missed that. All she seems to do is act ungrateful.

She went to see Tracy at the shop and thanked for for saving her life. Then when Carla returned from holiday she gave her a present, but of course Tracy being deluded and childish still blamed Carla for sending Rob down.

The whole story is crap, they are really running out of ways to give Tracy another feud storyline. Can't wait for her change of character in the summer then maybe we will finally get something fresh out of the character. It's hardly like Carla even set out to foil Tracy's plan, no one was even aware of it.

Tracy has never got over Rob. She still blames Carla for "ruining her life". Tracy has said recently she should be married and with Rob. Tracy and Carla make great enemies. I love watching nasty Tracy. Apparently
Spoiler
. The way Tracy has slept with Tony then rubbed Liz's nose in it is disgraceful especially as she seemed to have been using Tony all along. She's so self centred but I love watching her.

I agree callumfreeman. Alison King plays her character very deftly, and she did show Tracy some respect - well, 'tolerance' maybe .

Whatever it was, it was probably the only way you could treat someone with a hideously twisted personality who'd also saved your life.

Pity the poor soap actors who are given these impossible situations to play !

I also agree with you and CF!

BIB There could have been some new beginnings for Tracy after the crash. But no. she has to keep being the same vindictive nasty person over and over again. The same goes for Todd. It's all moustache twirling, mwahahaha with those two. Then when it all goes wrong (again) it's all about how they will get their own back. Rinse and repeat!

Maybe her mum's death will sort Tracy out.

BIB: perfect summary of Corrie for the last 2 or 3 years - sadly! The only motivation these two have for anything is revenge. And the only variation is whether it's short, medium or long term. Boring

Let's see if her attitude will finally change due to Amy being trapped in the fire. If Tracy ends up reverting to the same old villainy, complete with gurning and stupid crap one liners despite nearly killing her daughter due to a pathetic "revenge" plot, then there is no hope anymore.

I enjoyed Carla telling Tracy what's what last night in the toilets. It's time Tracy had a shake up, she gets off way too lightly with her deeds.

Yes - and I loved it when Carla grabbed Tracy's hand as she was about to slap her. Can't remember the exact line but it was a good 'un - something like, 'I've let you have these once too often' - but better

Nice to let the 'innocent' get a win for once!

If the fire is Tracy's fault in any way (even if she just leaves a candle burning and something catches fire) then I hope she gets her comeuppance. An absolute joke of a character.

Well that's what happened. Tracy is a great character and we'll see her develop over the coming months I'm sure.

Did you even watch it last night? That's what happened.

No, I haven't seen last night's yet, about to catch up now.

We saw her develop when she was friends with Beth but it didn't really go anywhere, and she soon reverted back to her shallow nastiness. Same with the more recent development she had with Rob. I just don't think she has been developed well at all. Her personality jumps around a lot and at the moment the writers can't decide whether they want a more down to earth Tracy, a Tracy who spouts bitchy one liners to 'comic effect', or out and out psycho Tracy. It's the latter this week, but it could just as easily be something else next week. Her flitting back and forth between these modes isn't natural. This thing with Carla is especially weak.

I don't understand why they would have Tracy about to clobber Carla with a heavy object, which acts as a serious reminder of what she did to Charlie, when for the past five years they have either ignored that or treated it as a joke.

Yes, hopefully they will stop the regurgitated fourth-rate rubbish from Tracy. Otherwise her stay in Corrie will rival Phil in EE for longevity & repetition (EE sneak preview for 2025: Phil treats women like dirt but they find him irresistible, throws his weight around, gets shot & survives!).

What was Tracey intending to do when she let herself into Carla's flat? Sh didn't go with the intention of bashing her over the head did she?

Plus who would break in and light a candle instead of turning the light on?

No apparently we've still got more of Tracys revenge to sit through...

The only good that can come of this is that Carla is on our screens. Ali King is a great actress imo
