It seems to be doing the rounds.

A friend who's on Three PAYG had a text from Three saying they were going to get 50 minutes free just for being on Three, with a link that contained some tncs and a note saying that the 50 minutes would be added within 7 days of the text. That was 10 days ago, and what's been added since is the bundle you mention (rather than the 50 minutes). Random, but nice to have.

I topped up £10 by card and got that 500 minutes.

The Stretch bundle you mean?

If so it doesn't appear to need a topup to happen. By the looks of the bundle expiry date, my friend's one went on 2 days before he topped up. I've just checked my Three PAYG sim too - no '50 free minutes' text, but despite not having topped up for a few weeks I've got the 490 minutes bundle too handy.

Likewise, no text for me either - I only noticed the bundle on mine today, even though it's been on there for some days. I've used some of the 'Stretch' minutes already as well, so looks like the usual 300 will last longer.
