Mondays Viewing Figures

EastEnders suffered an inevitable dip against Britain's Got Talent but held up reasonably well, dropping to 5.1m (22.7%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Shabnam was finally honest with a furious Masood. The figure was identical to last year's first clash with Britain's Got Talent, while BBC Three's repeat secured 619k (3.4%) at 10pm

It's great to have the Masoods back at the forefront of the show. Nitin and Rakhee were great last night with the fallout from her secret. I really liked Fatima too, I hope we see her again.

I'm interested to see how Bonnie/Carmel slots into the Masood fold tonight. Kush/Davood has been a great addition to the show and it's great to see his character fleshed out a bit. (which the show seem to be doing with all their underdeveloped newbies; Les, Pam, Donna, Kush)

And I see that the episode is written by Lauren Klee. One of my favourite writers on the show so it should be good.

DS Enders celebrates its 2nd anniversary this SUNDAY with a thread announcement. Born out of a typical DS style conflict, in a thread with a vaslav inspired Cora poll(not pole ), at a time when Lorraine Newman was at the helm, Alice was stealing toilet brushes, Bobby's snake was let loose and the B&B was a brothel. (It's scary to think that it was only 2 years ago) We learned never to leave Queen Shirley out of the cast list as her appearances are obligatory.

* DS Enderssssssssssssss used 'What I Did For Love?' for the opening montage of episode 96 which saw Bevis sentenced in court on 26th January 2015, this song was subsequently used in Episode 5020 of EastEnders live fireworks display.

* Kim had a relationship with a bloke called Gary in DS Enders and has recently referenced a friend called 'Gay Gary' in the show.

* DS Enders have featured a transgender story and character. It has been announced that EastEnders will introduce its first transgender character this year.
