Joel isn't my favourite (Nick is) however I find him so funny! Especially today when he was singing I Kissed A Girl And I Liked It. His American accent is spot on. I love Joel and Aaron together. They suit each other so well.

Do you find Joel fake or funny? Or something different?

He's quite a good singer, I thought. Wasn't expecting that!

I find him rather stiff, otherwise, though.

My favourite by far.

Makes me laugh and is kind of a wally.... bless him.

I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

I love Joel - especially the way he walked off while Jade was still telling him off. That'll frustrate her more than anything.

Let's just say, Joel is way down my list of who I would like to see evicted.
Jade, Harriet, Aaron, Cristian, Sarah Jack....... All should go before Joel IMO

I like him, I don't think a lot of the housemates get him and it frustrates them. Jade wanted an argument with him earlier and he stayed so calm and did not raise his voice at all.

I don't know about funny, but I do find him interesting.

I like his and Nick's little conversations.

I do too.
I think there is a genuine connection between them .
I enjoy watching how they are trying to make sense of what is happening around them

Yeah really liking Joel, he is a good contestant so far despite being a conservative member (don't attack me Tory voters im only teasing).

Once he matures he should be a fine, dry wit of the highest calibre.

As he lives in there (hopefully for a while) I hope he gets relaxed and finds himself.

Tonight was the night I started warming to him. First cos of him showing some vulnerability. Secondly, his singing.

Thirdly, he made me laugh out loud when he scientifically analysed Aaron's sex life: "that's 1 a week for 4 years...if you give yourself Christmas off".

I must say Joel, I think, delivered the funniest line of the series so far. When referring to Arrons sex life saying 'Having Christmas off' was comedy perfection

He's one of my favourites. I love seeing his conversations with Aaron and Nick. I find him quite funny and witty too. He's very well spoken for someone whose only 19 but I guess that's due to his political background

I'm a bit hot and cold with him at the minute.

As with Nick, he seems to work better when he's not involving himself in drama/bitching as both of them seem to crumble under scrutiny.

I agree, he's very fond of stirring and comes across as very sly to me - can't bear him and certainly don't find him funny.

Joel is cool.
Sang well.
Has a dry wit.
And intelligence.

Possible closet gay. Possible homophobe. Possibly both. Hence closest.

He asks interesting moral questions like about waterboarding and about voting and equal rights... You can tell his brain is a click ahead of some of the others in there and it makes a refreshing change from the usual "how pissed have you been?" "have you had a threesome?" "do you like cameltoe?" type shit that contestants usually spout.
