Anyone know what is going on with Dean? According to Matt DA's twitter a few days ago, he is still filming! I assumed that Shirley would find out the truth soon and Dean would be exposed over summer, but it doesn't seem like this is going to happen anytime soon. The rape story is taking a backseat and the story woth Roya is coming to the fore now but does anyone know what is going on with Dean? The idea of the rape conclusion not playing out until Christmas fills me with dread! I feel like I am watching and just waiting for Dean to be exposed and for Shirley to discover the truth, it's time now, isn't it?

Therefore, feel sorry for him as he doesn't have access to his daughter.

Basically the rape storyline is over and we can all love him as he is such a brilliantly written character played by such an outstanding actor (said nobody ever).

They're concentrating on other storylines now but it's interesting that posters have a problem when the Carter family are the focus and now that the Carters have taken a backseat they have a problem with that too. I'm personally enjoying the current storyline with Vincent, Ronnie and Kim. It's nice to get a small break from the Carters for a while.

Dean will be here till Christmas I reckon.

I love the Carters, except Dean as Matt Di Angelo is a terrible actor, but am also loving Vincent. He's made Donna watchable and is giving Kim a whole new lease of life.

I'm glad the rape has taken a backseat but I am still frustrated that there is seemingly no end in sight for Dean.

Dean will no doubt get custody of his daughter, because really he needs a happy ending after all this stress he's been put through recently. The poor little lamb.

He'll get away with it until it's time for the actor to leave and then it'll be dragged up again, like Stacey killing Archie. For now, the rape storyline is done and dusted.

I'm just glad we're having a break from this rape storyline. It has been awful because they kept dragging it on. I think Shirley will accept Dean is a rapist at the end of the year?

Zainab will return and choke him with some samosas when she learns about what happened.
