Ways to win back viewers

Sunday night live show called "Big Brother:Blast from the Past". 1 hour and a half show. The first hour shows highlights from the past 24 hours as usual then the final half hour, big brother sends in stars from BB7 as part of the timebomb theme. They stay until Wednesday evening. I would have stars from BB7 because the housemates are the most well known in the media today and could create a lot of interest. Also with the advertised promise to see the return of old stars, this could tempt old viewers to tune in and see who is going in. Alongside the Sunday live show,Channel 5 could promote the much anticipated return of the live feed that viewers could pay for to watch online. This could launch that night as well after the live show and they could do a similar thing that they did on channel 4 where the first 500 people get free passes. This is all pretty unlikely but does anyone have any other ideas? Personally I'm really loving this series but it's such a shame about the ratings. This idea could please the fans, generate interest again with casual viewers and not meddle with what's happening in the house

They wont in any big way.

The way people are watching tv has changed and ratings are down for near enough all shows across the board. Due to on demand services, +1, repeats etc etc. There is across every channel less people watching tv Live.

The overnight ratings are therefore a load of nonsense and actually tell us very little. More emphasis shoudl be put on the BARB ratings. Which actually show very little in the way of drop from last year. What drop there is, is mainly due to the habits of tv changing.

If they wanted more viewers they should just give us some livefeed... make it available online at least

Couldn't happen I'm afraid. BB7 belongs to Channel 4.

Give the show back to Channel 4.

Give us back proper unscripted Live Feed and scuttle BOTS, to be replaced by something worth watching: relevant, informative, non-smutty and not a Rylan camp-infested ego trip.

I suppose the question is where did it all go wrong in the first place.

BB used to be compulsive viewing, was always chatted about in the office the next day. Now nobody even admits to watching it.

I think 10pm is too late for the HLs, especially if you need your shut-eye for work or school the next day.

The stars don't though. They are free agents.
