EE: Phil/Nick's Money
Trijian
27-05-2015
(Hi, Long time lurker, first time poster!)

I'm trying to settle a debate between a friend and myself. I remember some time after Ronnie gave Nick all the money from Phi's safe, Nick stashed it behind the car lot to hide it from everyone else?

The debate is whether the money is still there. I'm convinced it is, as I don't recall him going there to reclaim it before he died, but my friend is sure he got it again.

Any eagle-eyed viewers want to help settle this?

If he did go to get the money again, I'm sure he wouldn't have been living in squalor for weeks. Didn't Yvonne burn some/all of it anyway?

He retrieved it as he was about to leave Dot's house, but Yvonne burnt it while he was upstairs packing his things. Although there was some speculation that she didn't burn all of the money and kept some for herself.

This. I suspect that Yvonne has the money.

I thought she burned some paper, with a few £20s thrown on top, to make it look like she was burning it all, to try to get Nick to bring the money out of hiding. My memory is really hazy with it at the moment, I just thought putting it all behind the car lot was the final act with the money, not the burning.
