I remember a few days ago a thread come up saying that they think that this year Channel 5 have got it right............they couldn't have been further away from the truth. This series is going exactly the same way as the last series. Once again we are seeing the show meddled with and fixed to the point where the show losses all credibiltiy.

The latest "twist" has saved every HM that was nominated and everyone that recieved the fewest noms are now up. They have fixed it to save the biggest characters from going. They knew Jade was going to go if she was up, it wouldn't have even been close, but because they want arguments, they fixed it so she would stay.

It would have been more acceptable if they had told us they were doing this before nominations took place. But let's be honest, we all know that this wasn't even planned before nominations took place, this was planned when they realised who was up for eviction.

The thing that has annoyed me more than anything about this twist is the fans reaction to it, especially on here. People on here have been moaning and groaning for years for the way BB is being handled on Channel 5, but the majority think that this "twist" is good. These same people moaned last year because BB let Helen get away with everything and made sure she got to the final, these same people moaned because Ashleigh was apparently being unfairly treated. The fans are almost as bad as the people in charge of this show. They are fine with any fix that takes place as long as it doesn't have a negative impact on their favourites or what they consider to be big characters. It's hypocritical and it says to the producers that they should never listen to any complaints the fans have of the show. Why bother listening to the fans when they are so hypocritical ?

I love this twist if it saves Jade. That is all I care about at this point.

And if they fixed it so that Jade was up for eviction you would be complaining.

It's not a rant Sega, just you being passionate about a show you, me & many have loved. This latest twist...(for twist read unfair, risable meddling) is awful.

I am a defender of Jade, I feel the girl is being unfairly, and unjustly vilified by people on this forum that sound like they are unhinged ....and yet I see her & those up for eviction being saved by the BB meddling is just so unfair.

If they allowed Jade to go then new dramas and animosities would develop. What they have done just perpetuates the one overiding drama that currently exists in the house , the Jade drama.
And we lose any potential Harriet drama.
They should change the theme to anarchy - no rulez and BB can do whatever he wants.

A twist as devastating as this should have been announced earlier. Before the nominations. There is a smell about it that suggests the production team only introduced this twist after they learned which housemates were involved. If this is true then just announce who is up and do away with the nomination farce.

LOL!!! It is a game show. It isn't about fairness, as we have seen time and time again over the years unfortunately. This time though, I happen to like the meddling, because I would like for Jade to stay for entertainment purposes. I am very interested to see how the house will take this news, especially the twins. I want to be entertained. Jade leaving takes away from the show's entertainment, in my opinion. Keeping her, and throwing the other half of the house up is entertaining, especially since I don't care which one of the housemates who are going up, leave. I mean, I would prefer Danny to go. But also wouldn't mind Sarah going either. Kieran can go too. Harriet is starting to annoy me too. Harriet will most likely go, which will suck. But Jade staying is a better compromise.

This twist would of only worked if the public knew beforehand even though is still shiit.

Well they have. Every housemate in there has their fans, now those fans are going to lose their favourite because BB decided to save their biggest characters.

Look at Marlon and Danielle last year. They were evicted without a public vote. That is definitely betraying the fans. The fans of those 2 HM's didn't even get a chance to stop their favourite HM from being evicted. Imagine if that was Ashleigh and Christopher that had been evicted, this place would have gone nuts. People would be shouting fix and saying they are never watching the show again.

More than Jade was up for eviction and who knows how the public perceives the rest, Aaron, for instance, is very annoying as is the truly awful taser faced Eileen.I am gutted I wanted Eileen out, she is a disgrace to any sane middle-aged, mature woman. and a walking bad advertisement for plastic surgery.
But ho-hum I well settle for the expulsion from my screen of the Bruce Forsythe chinny twins. Two right cows. It's funny that Jade is perceived as the vain one, up herself when you have the twins who spend every waking moment covered in slap, looking in the mirror and Eileen with a face full of surgery conceived through mindless vanity.

Utter nonsense. It's actually the complete opposite. BB are saving the show because so many moronic viewers are unwilling to. The "Highlights" were heading towards Sarah massaging Danny's head every night and trying to cook up a fake romance to get some mag deals. The twins moaning about food. Eileen wandering around like a patient from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest etc..

BB have finally gotten wise and took more control. The moronic public has had their period of control and largely ruined it. Now it's BB's time. Suck it up, bitches!

Well you have just proven my point really, that some of the fans are hypocritical. You would complain if there was a fix to remove your favourite, but would be ok if they fixed it to make sure she stayed.

I am all for Jade staying, i think the way she has been treated on BBBOTS is very unfair. But i want it to be done the right way. I wouldn't sacrifice the credibility of the show for one HM.

I agree. The public ruin the show each and every year with their prejudice choices as to who evict. It gets boring, and old very quickly. With BOTS also pushing their agenda, it is even worse.

BBOTS devoted most of their output on Monday to the nomination fallout and who we thought should go. Suggests to me this twist is a knee jerk reaction to who is up! Rather than a established plan.

Do the producers not understand we get excited over the noms results, make a decision who we might vote for, and look forward to the results. This twist takes all this away this week.

I would be interested in the voting numbers this week. I believe a majority of voters won't bother.
