THE TWIST IS A FIX! It's JUST SO WE GET MORE ENTERTAINMENT! HOW DEAR THEY COME UP WITH A GOOD IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'M GOING TO MAKE 100 COMPLAINTS TO OFCOM!
Entertainment is subjective, so who's definition are you using in this thread?

Big Brothers opinion?
The viewer's opinion (100,000 negative mentions of the word "Jade" on social media)
Or just your opinion of what is Entertaining?

just wondering.

I love how big brother basically just sticks its fingers up to everyone
So do I, it's proper old skool Orwellian and totally in keeping with the original premis of the show... fck you proles, we do what we want here, we are in charge.

People like to dislike people. They enjoy watching Jade because they dislike her. Evict the ones you hate and the house would be a very dull place.

It's just your opinion though, others will differ and potentially find these fixes to keep hate figures on stage offensive. Ofcom is relevant.

In your opinion.

I find it "troll" like to indulge in the hatred of a person?

And i know people like to hate but a broadcaster does not have to pander to such things.

Ofcom is relevant.

Yeah, because getting rid of Helen last year would have ruined the show wouldn't it ? No, if we could have got rid of Helen we may have had a far better series.

Do you know why so many people hated the last series ? it's because all but 1 or 2 housemates were horrible.

Okay, rewind a bit. You implied that 100,000 'negative mentions' of the word "Jade" on social media equates to people not wanting to watch her, and what I'm saying is that they very much enjoy watching, talking and tweeting about her, otherwise they'd be doing something else with their time.

Don't get hung up on the fact that I used the word 'hate'. I certainly don't indulge in petty hatred.

Are you going to complain to Ofcom that Channel 5 is propagating hatred?

I was actually implying 100,000 negative mentions of the word "Jade" meant those people Did want to watch her. We agree on the love to hate mechanism involved i think. Sorry for the confusion

I don't expect i will complain to anyone, it's not such a massive deal to me atm, although i reserve the right to do so, and yes the basis would be on a principal of "incitement to hate"

And another relevant point. What is the dominant position here?

"Keep her in we find her very entertaining" or "Get her out we don't like her"

If the former, then their is no need to fix it. If the latter then you are arguing for an undemocratic personal interest presumably?

I see. Personally I'd say, "Keep her in. I don't like her but I find her entertaining." I can't speak for anybody else though and I won't be voting. I'm not arguing for anything, just taking the series as it comes.

I was wondering if there was a principled reason for your attempted ridicule of viewers who have different opinions to yours. I don't think there is.

Why not start a poll?
Answer the question if you like, else your kind of wasting my time

Not viewers with different opinions. Just the ones that bang on about a "fix".

What's wrong with complaining about a fixed tv show?

Let me guess, we should all be grateful for a fix that improves YOUR version of entertainment.

Well i'm not grateful...let the attempted ridicule commence.

I find it funny that you put fix in quotation marks, like you think there isn't a fix going on here. Anbody with a brain can see that the events of today is a fix.

It's just wasting Ofcom's time. The reason people think it's a fix is because it saved Jade. The question is would you complain if it was the other way round?

Harriet is likely to go instead of Jade because she is hated in a similar way to Jade.
So either way the house will be losing a hated (aka interesting) housemate.
Personally id prefer BB just let Jade go as her story has played out - whereas with Harriet the other HMs are just starting to realise shes a nasty bigmouth but no-ones got the courage to say anything to her.
It would be more interesting to watch how the Harriet situation plays out that watch a prolonging of the Jade situation , imho.

It was fixed at 9.01pm the night it started.
I have never wasted a penny on voting and will not start now, even though I have watched from the beginning, back in the year dot.
Even saw Craig on sky news over the bank holiday weekend, ohh those were the days.
