It should have either been planned beforehand or had some element of chance to it, such as winning a task or even a poll on the website for viewers to vote.

What was the so**ing point of naminations. What an absolute pile of shite this years is.

No I dislike it because the housemates who were nominated weren't up and the housemates who managed to not get themselves nominated are up. They're going to second guess nominations from now on if they could be saving someone by nominating them.

As much as I think secret rooms have been overdone and they will never be as good as the first time round, I think it's the only fair thing for this week. It would be rubbish to be evicted because no one nominated you!

So that the ones who are not up will get put up.

No, I think that people who haven't been nominated shouldn't be up for eviction, simple really.

I don't like Jade but I can see that she's an asset to the show at the moment, so it's not sour BB grapes , just that I think that BB may as well not bother with nominations and just pick why THEY want to put up for eviction if this is the farce that the nominations process is going to turn into.

If you really think that they planned this before nominations took place you are a deluding yourself. They looked to see who was up and then decided to do this twist, it's pretty obvious to see really. Do you really think they would have done this twist if Chloe, Harriet and the Twins were the ones with the most nominations ?

Totally agree with this post what is the point of noms this is happening every year now same old,same old.

I like Jade as a HM but I think it'll be a boring week with her as the obvious source of drama. I don't really like vote-to-save, but it would have been effective this series if they're going to keep putting so many people up.

I was looking forward to seeing how Nick would cope without her around, and how the dynamics would change without her. Instead we lose either the Twins or Harriet, who are both quite entertaining and had much more longevity and character development potential.

That's one of the reasons I no longer bother voting. Total waste of money now.

I don't like it because I don't like the way BB changes the rules to save certain housemates. I think nominations shouldn't be messed around and I would prefer straightforward evictions. However I do feel even more strongly against it because it has saved Jade who I can't stand so I voted the 3rd option as I'd be lying if I said that didn't play a part in my dislike of the twist.

Edit - I wouldn't actually like the twist but I would be as against it.

Why would anyone come here and post a thread title giving away what's happening before it has been broadcast?

Wtf????? Jades no longer up.....I haven't watched it yet but come off it that's just interfering with natural noms process. Whoever has most noms should rightfully be up for public vote, bb interfere far too much now a days. So instead of jade going we're going lose someone less deserving????? And they wonder why people cry fix.

The same reason there are clips throughout the day on the website and update tweets throughout the day - because some people enjoy keeping relatively up-to-date with what's going on in semi-real time. If there were live feed there'd be many more such threads and some people would know what's gone on through the day and some wouldn't, depending upon whether they just watch the highlights or also watch the live feed.

I've always gone by the theory that, if BBUK have put the clip up, put up an article or tweeted about something - making it available to the public to read or watch - then it's fair game to discuss it on the forum.

ETA: This year I'm not keeping up with the clips/site myself, but I can appreciate that many others are, so seeing stuff on the threads that I haven't seen yet doesn't bother me. I can easily avoid the forum until after the show if I so choose.

If people want to find out things in advance of the nightly programme it is up to them to visit the channel 5 web site and twitter if they so choose but people do come here to discuss and read discussions of BB, without having things disclosed in advance of the daily highlights broadcast. There is no reason why they shouldn't be able to do so.

It is a well established convention to use spoiler tags so that people do not inadvertently open a thread only to find out something before the programme has been broadcast. It is not that difficult.
