Could we see Jane Danson leave the show despite her exit not being announced?

I just don't see how Leanne could feasibly leave the flats with

I'm wondering if Leanne and Kal will chuck Amy out of the window

They've already announced the Leanne and Simon abuse storyline which will happen following the fire so no.

That's exactly why it would be a shock, though.

Could be a lie to stop the exit getting out.

It does almost sound too ridiculous to be true.

I doubt it. It is a storyline that Blackburn has promoted and a serious matter which soaps don't address very often. I don't think Corrie are smart enough to come up with an elaborate plot to put us off the scent. It would also be a disaster to lose a character like Leanne.

But why leak all the storylines?
If people had no idea what was going to happen, more people would watch.

I would be absolutely fuming if this was the case. I'd feel completely cheated - I have been excited for weeks to see Curled Si give Leanne a good battering and they better not snatch this away from me!

Maddie Heath from the pictures and Kal Nazir from gossip alone.

I doubt it. There would be no point in the proposal if they both died. It's been written so Leanne was happy and then she's going to be devastated.

Coronation Street just don't seem capable of genuine shock do they? I bet both Leanne and Amy survive and we just get rid of the unliked deadwood of Kal and Maddie which will hardly be noticed afterwards.

It would be an extremely dumb move to axe Leanne.

SB doesn't do shocks/twists.

It has been very, very predictable storytelling so far and I expect it to continue.

Totally agree, the next time previews give away too much too

Ridiculous if Maddie dies aswell! We had that happen on the night of the tram crash with John Stape-a death separate to the tragedy going on at the end of the street. Surely they won't use that old trick twice!

The best shock exit would be if Amy died in the fire.

The impact of that would be so far reaching

OP - it would be helpful if you would indicate which soap the thread was about in the title.

Does Jenny kill Maddy??? What on earth is she gonna do with her body? Maddy was beginning to grow on me. I thought her and Sophie's relationship was blossoming and she made a good addition to the Webster clan

I don't recall Stuart Blackburn revealing Amy would be trapped in the fire.

I very much doubt she would exit without some fanfare
