I liked Jon Tickle, but I don't think he'd suit this year's house. Besides, he's sort of a 'celebrity' now, in that he's done television programmes since he was in BB.

I remember in his year he came back - after viewers had voted him out, a few weeks later they voted for him to go back in again!?!

I loved Jon Tickle, but agree he would not suit BB as it is now. BB4 the show he was in still wasn't full of media desperate whores. They were still "ordinary" folk.

That's right. I really doubt we'd get someone like Cameron Stout on a modern BB series!

Yes it bloody was. I think you're wearing rose tinted glasses there.
I clearly remember at the time the forum discussing their media ambitions and the housemates who'd been to drama school, hung around in China Whites, and those who had clear intentions of working in the media.

This myth that back in the early days of BB it was innocent times needs to be smashed.

Tanya was always going on about it, whilst putting on her "go faster stripes" of blusher.

I also remember Justine talking about her plans to 'hang around' like Alison from BB3 and 'see what turns up'.

Bit of useless trivia: She said that while being interviewed by BB favourite Iain Lee on RI:SE many years before he was involved with BB.

Yes, not necessarily all of them.
However Cameron's brother is/was a well known celebrity in Scotland. I think he is/was a TV presenter. Not saying Cameron definitely had plans to get into media work, but who knows.
Ray also spoke about potential media work.

Even back in BB1 some housemates were talking about what media work may be on offer for them after the series had finished.

Most of them had an eye on potential media work.
