Saying i hope Jade gets scalded in the bath is a bit extreme even for Big Brother and he didn't even deny saying it

He has not gotten any flack for it though whereas if Jade had said it. she would be vilified. That was a very nasty thing to say or wish on someone.

And he wasn't even vaguely ashamed of having said it , he's a very strange bird isn't he
I was shocked, and that's not easy. Can't think of anything she's done to him to deserve such hatred and I'm not using that word lightly.
He's a very odd, strange individual - I think he has a great career ahead of him in the Tory party. He'll fit in nicely.

Probably when she had hot water and they didn't, inflamed by a tiff or her milking it he flippantly says, "well i hope it burns you" - meaning burn as in the water is a bit too hot not as in all her skin falls off... Perhaps said with the equivalent venom as when someone says "don't let the door hit you on the way out".

Well he announced loud and proud tonight that he hates her. So perhaps your massaged version of events isn't particularly likely.
To be fair - I imagine he said it in a 'joking' kind of way - he does have a dry/sarky SOH.
I'm not overly keen on him but I won't read too much into that comment.
As for the 'I hate Jade' comment - I think that just shows how very young and immature he really is.

I would say the hate comment and the bath comment shows how very immature he really is.
Considering how mature he tries to appear to be he can be extremely immature at times but then he is only 19 and sometimes we say stupid things without thinking at that age. I do quite like Joel but at times I find him a very untrustworthy character. he has such a dry sense of humour that I think some of what he says can be misconstrued and sometimes he is possibly being serious but it is hard to know because of his sense of humour.
I think the hate comment was edited a certain way...

Very nasty thing to say . My initial judgement of him was correct . He's like a grumpy old man in a young person's body .
What I can't stand about him is the sneering way he treats others as if they're all beneath him .

My last comment was just the first in a series of twists I will be pulling to suit myself.
I did like him to begin with but I feel there's something really off about him the more you watch him... He's very snide and seems to think he's above everyone else and worth so much more. Quite try hard too, it feels like he's saying these mean jibes to fit in and look cool/funny to me.

Agree, a very strange little body.....
He also said after the "I hate Jade" comment to Nick that he could still change his mind about her and still give her a chance (would have to go back to listen to the actual words used).. btw being a Tory is not a crime! (there's nasty people in all parties)
