It sounds harsh, but again we didn't see it in context of when it happened. It could have been said in jest.
I feel for Joel because a lot of people are automatically judging him because of his party and because he can form a sentence.

I agree. I thought he should have got a warning for that, because joke or no joke he was expressing joy at the idea that Jade could seriously hurt herself.
For the record I dislike Jade profusely.
