Not because of the fire.

But because of maniac Jenny standing over Maddy like Anthony Perkins's Norman Bates in Psycho!.

She even wore a dodgy wig. It terrified me and I'm 33 years old.

Will it be a knife or a heavy ornament she'll use on Maddy??

MURDER!

That scene definitely gave me Richard Hillman "You should have stayed at the party Maxine!" vibes

I like the Jenny character and think the actress isn't too bad - in comparison with a lot of them, obviously! - but I don't see how she can continue to stay in the show after where most know how the S/L is going to play out. Shame.

Maddie will go for a shower and Jenny will cut through the shower curtain whilst dramatic horror music plays.

To be fair the fact it is being shown after the watershed should probably tell parents to actually do some parenting and not let young kids watch it.

Sorry but I stopped watching Corrie a while ago, has it been explained why Jenny needs to flee with Jack rather than staying with Kev and them being a family? Does she love Kev? He seems to genuinely love her!

It hasn't been explained on screen yet. But Jenny had a kid that died when he was Jack's age so she feels she needs to Jack away to keep him from having the same fate as her son.

WHy? I really enjoy Corrie, not as much Emmerdale but its very good. I love Bethany, the Tony/Tracy affair and I'm hoping this fire will be good (we won't see it in the US till next week)

I just can't bear the bad writing.

Sarah Lou was my all time favourite character and I have been shipping her return for years. I am utterly disgusted with what the writers have given us so far, she is NOT Sarah Lou, she's like Sarah's panto evil twin. The Nazirs are HORRENDOUS, Tracy once again proving to be the one dimensional hoe bag out for revenge for the 4 millionth time. Sophie...I just hate her, too many storyline going round and round in circles then others anointing to nothing.

Emmer dale is on fine form and I never miss an episode, but Corrie is turning into Hollyoaks and it saddens me.

I agree with you on the Nazirs, but they really have been put on the back burner, I get the feeling that Blackburn realized his mistake with this family. Now I'm not a long time viewer but I have watched tons of stuff with Sarah on youtube and she doesn't seem that different to me, she and David still have their issues and its realistic that she's more like a friend than a mom to Bethany given the little age difference. As for Tracy, I love her as I do most soap villains, but from what I've heard she is going to change after Deidre's death so you will get some character development there.

Being scared is all part of life's rich tapestry.
Kid's are too mollycoddled these days.

I saw Harry Hewitt being crushed under Len Fairclough's van at age 3. It never did me any harm.
