That lasted like 2 episodes and he hasn't appeared since. Lashing out at Sharon and then the biting incident at school. I know DTC is sometimes criticised for block storytelling, but this is stupid, even if Denny is a recurring character.

Part of it is down to him being under 16. They should revisit this but doubtful with Kathy and Sharon's dad coming up

Looks like they forgot about Denny full stop which hopefully stays that way for a wee while longer

It's ridiculous that we're always seeing Sharon's busy life but we never see her with her son. But I'm glad Denny has disappeared

Denny was the main problem with Sharon in late 2012 & 2013, he is better off making sporadic appearances.

He should be recasted. It's not like the character has been over-recasted like other characters have. It's also normal for a character of his age.

He hasn't been missed in this household, but if they must bring him back for one of their occasional 'issue' storylines, then for pete's sake give the boy a bleedin' haircut! He's got the sort of looks that make you want to slap him anyway, so if he actually looked like a little boy he'd maybe stand a better chance of being warmed to!

Over on Corrie, young Max eventually had a proper modern little boy's haircut and it made so much difference.

There's several plot strands that have suffered from block storytelling I agree. I would love Sarah Phelps to do a few more Shazz episodes, she always brings her back to life.

Kids in soaps are never credible or realistic.

I thought Tiffany Butcher (Bianca's daughter) was quite a good character.

Amy Mitchell is shaping up to be interesting with all her outbursts lol.

Sharon's stories never go anywhere. The drug addiction ground to a halt, Denny abusing her went nowhere, Phil nearly killing her and then cheating on her was forgotten in days, her brother, her anger over Phil buzzing off and coming back with loads of money.....

And how many times has she threatened to leave him.

Agreed, and that pitiful reaction to the truth about Dennis. I hate what EE have done to her since she returned.

I know you are a very big Sharon fan so I feel your pain.

They could not have made her any more pathetic if they tried. But I knew that it would happen once TPTB got her involved with you know who again

Just look at Charlie - one minute a strong mysterious male character - the next pitifully begging the Philth for help and becoming his unpaid lackey.

I won't even mention Jay.

But that is the boring beetroot for you - the destroyer of all characters who come into his orbit.

Except Vincent - so far anyway.

Denny slapped her chops, then she went home resolving to be tougher with him after a pep talk from Ian of all people but we've seen nothing since.
