She'll be on Celebrity Big Brother come this summer.

Oh gosh. Thank you. You just made me howl laughing. Xx

Alison Jiear added,
Nathan James @TheNathanJames
Gutted for @alisonjiear you are so good and I am so proud of you. You will always be able to sing, the dog will be dead in 7 years.lol #BGT”

How hilarious, not, she is obviously not the brightest along with the idiot who made the original comment. Why can't she just accept she didn't get through it was her own fault anyway, crap song, poor performance and lets be honest she is never going to be a successful solo artist in a million years. She is just a nobody that no one will even remember in a weeks time.

She also retweeted someone saying, "I don't watch it, but I did I hear right? A dog beat Alison frickin Jiear? That, in a nutshell, is why I can't watch public vote stuff."

Obviously has an inflated opinion of herself. How embarrassing, a little modesty wouldn't go amiss. That last note she sang literally sounded like a dying cat (and yes, I'm using the word "literally" correctly).

Sounds like the showbiz journos have been on to her and she's panicked.

Why the animosity towards the dog when there was 6 acts that beat her, some of them rubbish.

She should watch her performance see where she went wrong, not attack the other contestants

Yes, because nothing's quite as funny as joking about the death of someone's beloved dog.

She went wrong when she thought she was anything more than a generic backing singer.

Even without knowing her history, she came across as totally false. The oh so warm and lovely personality, poor little old me act, this is my last chance cliche lines...

I think she can sing, but she made a mistake in attempting to soup up "Climb Ev'ry Mountain", as Amanda Holden implied. The power in that song is its cathedral-like quality and it just didn't work as a 'chicken-in-a-basket' ballad. She also slaughtered the last note.

Another thing she should think about is that singers like her are ten a penny - dogs like Matisse are not.

What a silly woman, she did come across as quite nice originally but no one likes a bad loser or a dog hater!

Ironically that last note she howled out sounded a bit like a dog being strangled. It's not like it came down to her and Matisse in 2nd and 3rd, she was well down in the voting. I thought Simon's comments were surprisingly kind. I'm sure she is a better singer than her semi final performance but didn't deserve it on the night.

Im guessing 30 years ago she was quite the powerhouse, however her voice is shot.

The playing round with the notes was to cover her pitch issues.

Compare that to gaga who sung the hell out of it at the oscars....

I thought this too.

She has a fairly powerful voice, but she hollers and shrieks and shouts.

She sounds like a pub singer to me.

She's well full of herself too.

And it may be my imagination, but I am convinced that either the people supporting her passionately, (on twitter etc,) are either people very close to her - who are as insanely obnoxious and vile as she is. OR they are sock puppet accounts that she has made up.

If she were a mate of mine, or an act I loved, I would have tweeted to say 'awww, rotten luck hun; never mind, this is just the start of the big time!' I certainly would not have made vicious remarks about someone's lovable pet and how they will be DEAD in 7 years! Nor would I have said petty and bitter things like 'THEIR loss hun!'

Something is not ringing true with that woman.

I think I dislike her more than anyone who has appeared on BGT - ever.

I'd rather watch a good dog act than another wannabe singer who is good, but not exactly unique.

The 12 year old girl was a much better singer - I'm more upset that she didn't get through.”

Dumb animal?! Ha.

I'm not getting this - Has the dog died? I can't find any news about it

In her day she was fab. Her " i just wanna f@@@@@ dance" is a classic, and her West End leading and award winning performances were great. But she was very disappointing in the semis.
