EE Ronnie and Charlie
Will Ronnie and Charlie's relationship survive the Vincent/Roxy complications?
I don't think it will what do you think?

no, Charlie should leave already, talk about deadwood, total ploy device character with very little to offer, if i could cope with ronnie losing another kid i'd tell him to take matthew with him.
Ronnie clearly doesnt love him, also for the love of god ronnie has been on hospital 5 months! get het out of there! |

Charlie should've never got involved with Ronnie or the Mitchells. He is way over his head with them being one of the top families of the Square.
Maybe in hindsight they should've paired him Stacey Slater late last year. They both have less than perfect pasts, both fond of Dot and unlike Ronnie, Stacey wouldn't have taken such drastic measures to get rid of Nick. If they got married, Dot would've been so happy and would potentially continue the Cotton and Slater family tree. It's a shame that he's being turned into a nothing character. Ronnie's true love is always going to be Jack Branning IMO. |

I can't stand Ronnie. Roxy's right, she never loves any of her men, just orders them about and has to be in control. She has a personality of a wet fish and she is always miserable! And oh yeah a heart of stone.

No Ronnie definitely loved Jack, there is no doubt about that. I think she does love Charlie, but it's more of a underlying love. Tbh, her change of attitude towards him was simply due to hearing about his affair with Roxy. Before, she seemed genuinely happy to have him in her life.

Personally I like Charlie and think it important to the show to have a Cotton about, I fear for June's health, I'm hoping for an odd appearance but I don't think it'll be much more than that so Charlie and Matthew are important to the history of the show imo

I'm not sure what will happen. I hope it works out for them though. Charlie has suffered a bit because of June and Sam's breaks and Sam having numerous breaks has dented the relationship of Charlie and Ronnie. It was really good up until the crash and then obviously they haven't had much to work with. And still haven't had any proper scenes together. Ronnie is starting to become a little bit annoying at the moment. Giving out orders to everyone. They have potential to be a great couple imo but if they are just going to go round in circles with the Roxy/Vincent stuff then I would rather he just go out

Charlie needs some decent character development - he's been a plot device up until now. If this was to happen, I think it should happen far away from either Mitchell sister!
His friendship with Fatz should be explored more. |

His friendship with Fatz should be explored more. He used to interact with a lot of people in the beginning but I guess that was always going to change when he got with Ronnie |

Charlie should've struck up a friendship with Martin and Kush IMO. They're all probably in the same age group and he needed some mates all these months.
