Nicely put together video compilation from their recent Cernobbio concert, only clips of the songs with lots of laughter/joking around though of course in Italian.

This is a nice performance by Gianluca and Ignazio, at the end Piero says the day he gets married they will have to come sing that at his wedding!

Hi - there have been so many beautiful videos of the guys these last few weeks. Amazing

Do they always do open air concerts? Gianluca did a Periscope yesterday where he was saying that they were going to do an open air concert and there were hailstones! I think it went off OK though, as there were lots of good pictures from the night

dia6olo - thank you so much for this great thread As you know, Mr Faustini has been greedy with my time recently, but these boys are big in my heart right now and I love dipping over here and clicking on your videos. I am fully planning to watch all of them very soon.

Oh, and me being me, I am also the admin of four Il Volo FB groups now - one for each of the guys and one for Il Volo generally - I know, I know, but you know what I'm like..... I didn't set them up, but I've stepped in to help the original admin as she has other stresses in her life... So I am gathering a whole load of lovely video clips, pictures and videos right now (oh, how I wish I understood spoken Italian - and Spanish...)

And I also have a new friend on FB who is sending me LOTS of great Il Volo videos all the time too - so that's keeping me busy. You know who you are.....

Any thought's on Ignazio's state of mind? Lots of pictures of him looking sad recently and no social media interaction at all, whereas GG and PI are on there all the time... Lots of chat on the forums about whether he is getting tired or even depressed... No real break planned for these guys until June 2016!!?

A picture taken at the right time can make the happiest person in the world look like the saddest so I wouldn't pay attention to pictures. As you say he is a lot deeper (as he's grown a little older) than the other 2 so very easy to capture him appearing to look down/depressed.
They have had a hectic schedule over the past 6/12 months, truth is over the past few years so a little tiredness is definitely going to be there.
From their very recent concert youtube clips that are uploaded pretty much every day he is still the joker the fun in Il Volo suggesting he's fine, but who knows maybe he needs a little break...

I did catch a recent Detroit interview about their PBS concert special "Live From Pompeii. All 3 looked tired which is probably not surprising given their recent schedule. But other than that they seemed fine enough...

While I was looking up some of their recent concert uploads I just came across a new track of theirs, at least I think it is as I haven't heard them sing it before. IL VOLO -- non farmi aspettare (Don't make me wait)

Turns out there's a youtube upload to that "new" track from June 2014 so definitely performed it some time ago, I can't recall it, I must have missed it!

This is a nice clip showing them performing in Naples as well as being interviewed (in Italian).
They said their new album will be presented at the Arena Di Verona concert which is the last concert of the Italian tour and the one you're going to Jessika?
They also said that following that they soon begin a world tour of America, South America, Europe and the rest of the world...

On August 8, 2015 Il Volo received a great tribute in Roseto degli Abruzzi. The Town Council, in a special session broadcasted to a crowded Piazza della Repubblica, conferred the tittle of “Ambassador of the city of Roseto degli Abruzzi in the world” to Gianluca Ginoble and the honorary citizenship to Michele Torpedine, Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto.

Ignazio received the same honour in February for the town of Marsala which is where he grew up and Piero Barone received the same honour back in December for his town of Naro.

Ignazio performing Unchained Melody solo.
I think I posted a video of this before but this one is good quality.

This is also a good one of Ignazio paying tribute to Pino Daniele an Italian singer who has passed away.
Ignazio Boschetto (Il Volo) "Medley Pino Daniele"

This is an excellent performance!

It's not often we get to see Ignazio duet with Piero but this just highlights what an incredible versatile voice Ignazio has.

Whaaatttt??!! OK, now I have just died and gone to heaven dia6olo Yes, that IS the concert I am going to.... OMG.... I am meeting four other people out there now too It sounds like it is going to be even more exciting than I thought!!

Wrt the American tour, they have released the dates, but everything seems very confused, with some people seemingly having bought tickets direct from PBS (in fact, some people seem to be saying that is all being run by PBS?), some direct from venues, some saying that tickets aren't available? The words p*** up and brewery come to mind... And they are doing all the most Northerly concerts in February - in Boston and New York!? Eek.... Have they seen the weather there the last few years in February....

Anyway, now don't judge me, but I have met a very nice American lady on FB and she lives in California.... They are doing a concert there in April and she wants someone to go with her...... I am not sure yet, but if there are meet and greet tickets available too.... I will be going for a third time haha

This would so be me if I met them

When the three of them were standing with the fan and Piero hit GG hard on the bum, then Ignazio ran around the fan - I honestly thought that he was going to hit her hard on the bum Thank god he didn't.......

This was beautiful, wasn't it GG looked so pleased and so proud.... Some lovely photos from this day too. They are finally being recognised for their achievements in Italy - woohoo!

Oh wow!! Blown away <3 <3 That is the most traditionally operatic I have heard Ignazio sound. And the bit where they sing together at the end - astounding. I can't believe these guys are in their early twenties - how bloody good are they going to be in their 30s!!?

Do you think Piero has enough light and shade in his singing? And I am a Piero lover by the way (and a Gianluca lover and, especially, an Ignazio lover... )... But sometimes I think he could show a gentler side to his voice?

To balance the Piero and Igna love - here is a stunning video of of Gianluca singing in Spanish....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=15s&...I0&app=desktop

Unfortunately it is not entirely complete (small bit missing at the beginning and end), but it does remind you that he has a really amazing voice too.....

... and a last couple of links. Firstly, the advert for the PBS special that the guys did live from Pompeii - it's around 3 1/2 minutes and shows a good few of the songs that they do. This has been shown live on Amercian TV this week, and the DVD is available for pre-order but only from Amazon USA at the moment.... It will arrive third week in September...

And the Spanish version of Grande Amore - which I think has a great video

It's the most operatic I've heard Ignazio too and I too had that wow feeling, he is good, exceptionally good! His versatility is incredible, he can go from pop to opera and do it exceptionally well. I'm a big fan of all 3 but Ignazio is very special.

Do you think Piero has enough light and shade in his singing? And I am a Piero lover by the way (and a Gianluca lover and, especially, an Ignazio lover... )... But sometimes I think he could show a gentler side to his voice?
I know exactly what you mean, he is very much an operatic singer and opera is a long way down my list of favourite genres and I suspect yours too, he is very good at it and fits in well with most of the parts he is given in the songs they perform together but does come across to me too as the least versatile by some margin. The fact that he is so operatic is probably the biggest factor as we see it...

That said, you then listen to Ignazio on the above operatic performance and he oozes light and shade...

To balance the Piero and Igna love - here is a stunning video of of Gianluca singing in Spanish....

I am liking Gianluca more and more as time passes by, he too I felt was not the most versatile in the early years (how bad does that sound he's only 22) but that really isn't the case, he's actually also very versatile, maybe not like Ignazio but quite versatile.

As for your potential trip to America you are now just rubbing it in!

Thank you for them, I'm liking the video of the Spanish version of Grande Amore but do prefer the Italian version of the song, the fact that I understand the Italian version probably plays a part in that mind. The Spanish speaking community however do seem to really like the Spanish version judging by the comments...

The PBS special from Pompeii looks very good
