No, (speaking as a straight man) a warning would have been quite sufficient.

Perhaps BB should have intervened sooner if they felt it was serious.

I think BB should have called him in pretty soon after he started and given him a warning to stop it going too far.

If Christian or Danny had done that to Adjoa before she left then they would have been kicked out.
And probably collected by the police outside the DR door.

Yes. It was funny. But he needed removing. With a bit more drink that whole joke could have gone horribly wrong.

Complete joke. Sorry but that was unfair. I am not Aarons biggest fan but come on he was playing. This is Big Brother for gods sake, people have always pranced around in the house and if your not comfortable with this kind of thing dont apply for show.

ok so he kept going on at joel but all the hms were laughing, Joel didnt look massively upset by it. Yes he may have felt a tad uncomfortable as being a young virgin but surely he knew it was all banter...should of just left it as a warning..even that i thought was silly.
Prancing around is no way comparable to being completely naked, flashing at people and then going on to hug the person whilst still naked.

As usual I think people generally are far too focussed on the protagonists - blaming Aaron or (much worse) the victim Joel - and missing the real point.

BB could and should have stepped in earlier and given Aaron a very stern warning.

Try and not be biased please about your feelings on him as a housemate
It's not really BBs or anyones opinion, it was illegal, yes its a minor thing but BB wouldn't channel 5 wouldn't leave themselves open by keeping him in.

Obviously a warning would have sufficed. If Aaron went too far why didn't BB call him to the DR earlier????

I don't like Joel but, Aaron has been pestering him this week and he went much too far last night. The others kept encouraging him, but he has to take responsibility for his own actions. Joel was, understandably, finding the situation too difficult, and he is only 19. He was out of his depth and it would have been better if one of the other HMs had told Aaron enough was enough much sooner in the incident. I don't want to feel sorry for Joel, but on this occasion I do. Hopefully, it is a learning curve for both Aaron and Joel.

It went on for too long, and Joel was clearly uncomfortable with it.

The way I look at it is if he'd been doing it to a girl he would definitely have been thrown out, so it shouldn't be any different if he does it to a guy. So, yes, he did deserve it.

I understand why BB took a hard stance, after recent events in recent years.
Arron invaded Joel's personal space. If that happened in the work place it would be instant dismissal.
I do wrestle that maybe Arron should have. Got a warning, that the Bianca situation was similar. Bianca should have been booted. Bb had different bosses back then. The new bosses have taken a stance.

Times change and what was acceptable way back when,is not acceptable now.
If Arron had done to me what he did to Joel I would have felt very intimidated. The fact that everyone was laughing and some were encouraging. Arron, I personally would have felt alone.

After the Hazel incident and Connor incident I'm not surprised BB has cracked down on inappropiate behaviour.

The problem was when he chased and ground into Joel naked, that's full on assault territory... The rest WAS funny.

I'm in the 'no' camp, a strong and possibly final warning.

Seriously some people have no sense of humour. .. if joel had properly told him to f off different story but he didnt. If the other hms told him to reign it in he may have done so, but everyone in that room was laughing.

Why should I calm down? Aaron cannot control himself when he's drunk. We've seen that. It could have indeed gone HORRIBLY WRONG!

It could in a number of ways, first and foremost Aaron could have put himself away and gone to bed but a couple of others:

• BB should have stepped in
• The other HMs shouldnt have egged him on

He should have just got a warning. Joel was laughing the whole time. Aaron running up behind Joel naked and hugging him was the only time he overstepped the mark, and he should have got a warning for it. Joel complaining about this in the diary room is what got Aaron removed. He would have been fine if Joel didn't do that. This is what happens when people go running to complain to Ofcom too often. Everyone gets oversensitive about everything and Big Brother acts on little things that wouldn't have mattered before, to protect themselves. The Charlie and Emily incident is another example and the show hasn't been the same since. But yeah, it's the viewers post 2007 (many of them from this forum) who went complaining to Ofcom pretending to be offended by every little thing that has ruined this programme.
