Yes.

Joel was clearly uncomfortable with it. It went too far.

No he shouldn't. And I doubt he would have gone so far had the others not egged him on. I don't feel Joel's DR speech was genuine either. Harriet was really encouraging him, she even said about flashing Joel again before going to the DR.

The thing is. Like in bbbots they said it could be banter but at the end of the day even in banter if the person says no they have every right to go to the police and that person could get into serious trouble. it's like rape the girl may say stop in a funny way but she can still go to the police it really depends on the person.

Would you say the same for a male doing it to a female?

I'm sure Harriet wouldn't have been pissing herself if one or the lads did the exact same thing and I'm almost as sure the other lads would have sat there laughing either.

His behaviour was completely unacceptable. Joel repeatedly told him to stop but Aaron kept on going. It was disgusting how other housemates, such as Harriet, were egging Aaron on. Like others have pointed out, had it been a man acting that way towards a woman he would have been removed from the house straight away. It was the right decision in my opinion.

I agree. It's okay for the others to find it hilarious, none of them were in the firing line.

all these "but if he did it to a woman"

but the difference being a man can fend for themselves. as a man no other person fights my battles for me

If it was the same scenario, too much drink, joking around, being egged on, then yes I would say the same. Even if it was female on male, female on female.

It was vastly inappropriate yes, however a formal warning should have been given first.

Big Brother usually loses one person a week. This week, as a result of an internal email sent Tuesday morning from Ben Frow (the head of Channel 5) saying he wasn't happy with the current ratings or housemates, they are losing four. They are also, however, gaining four which means they are not losing one housemate overall as they usually do.

As a result, they were desperate for a reason to remove a housemate somewhere in the mix. They called Joel in, encouraged him to express his discomfort, then used this to remove Aaron in time for Friday's live show.

I think maybe they should have just given him a warning, and ordered the other housemates to keep track of how much he drinks.

I couldn't stand the guy but I think a serious warning, should've been adequate. It's obvious, they were looking for an excuse to get another one out.

Yes, agree that he had to be removed. All the housemates know beforehand what is acceptable and unacceptable behaviour.

Joel could have 'put himself' in the DR. He could have raised his concerns immediately with BB but only went to the DR after BB had called Aaron. He could also have been more assertive with Aaron but imo, wanted to remain on the 'good' side of HMs who were laughing at Aaron's antics. Whilst Aaron's behaviour was embarrassing and uncomfortable to watch, I think a warning would have sufficed. He said he had had a lot to drink (doesn't excuse him) but BB could have intervened earlier.

Joel was being harassed in a very nasty way by a very unpleasant individual. If anything aaron should have been removed more quickly.

But as it DID go that far, and bearing in mind if it had been a straight guy harassing a girl it would've been shocking, I think the removal was appropriate. But BB COULD have stopped it.

xx”

Thanks you saved me a post. That's exactly what I was going to say.

I hate him but he should of only got a warning really and told sternly to stay away from Joel.

His high pitched plea at the end when he was kicked out was the funniest thing I've ever seen

I didn't see Joel egging him on. Aaron was there every time Joel turned round, exposing himself. He was asked to stop and did not. He could be arrested for that behaviour outside. How Joel can be held responsible for the appalling behaviour of Aaron I just don't know.

Joel doesn't fit the stereotype, in my opinion.

I voted yes.

No means no, regardless of gender or sexual orientation.

This ^.

I also agree with the opinion that BB should have stepped in before it escalated to the extent that it eventually did.
