BB should have called Aaron to,the DR sooner. They failed in their duty of care IMHO.

Yes, BB could have intervened earlier on.

However, it was convenient to let Aaron continue and thereby provide themselves with reason to eject Aaron and get the show trending.

Thanks Cornchips. I questioned much the same thing on another thread. They have called hms to the DR before to ask them to calm down, so why not in this case?

They could have yes, but they waited until it got far enough so they could chuck him out to get headlines and ratings to boost the failing ratings

BB should have nipped it in the bud as soon as Aaron flashed the first time , so clearly BB planned for it to continue so they could have an excuse to remove him , DO YOU THINK WE'RE STUPID BB PRODUCERS

I agree. If they didn't want to kick Aaron out they would have intervened as soon as possible. But they let it continue.

What time did it happen? They might have needed a senior producer to deal with it who wasnt on hand.

It was happening quick, so they might have called him as soon as they were actually able to, but by then it had already gotten well out of hand.

I really want to know how the housemates especially Joel felt about Aaron being thrown out. I really think it deserved a warning first and also the other housemates should have gotten a warning too because if it wasn't for them egging Aaron on then he wouldn't have done it that much.

Anyone with half a brain could see almost straight away that was an issue. They didn't need a senior producer to call him to the DR.

Most of them we saw in frame were complicit.

Exactly. BB could have called Aaron at any time, not waited until he went past the warning stage and into the ejection phase. A warning would have worked, but BB wouldn't have got the sensational publicity boost. Now it will be in some papers tomorrow.

Looking at the clips on BOTS some of them have accepted their responsibility for egging him on. Nick and Jack specifically.

um you dont need to wake up a producer to call someone to the diary room

Exactly !! they could have intervene earlier like they have done so in the past (I'm looking at you Helen) but I think they wanted it to play out tbh

What I found odd was it seemed like they warned him, then let him back in, and ejected him only after Joel went into the DR. Unless they messed with the sequencing.

Hi CC - long time no see!!

I've just been away for a couple of weeks but have watched most episodes on Catch Up, and I'm staggered at Aaron's eviction.

I agree with other posters, BB should have stepped in sooner and given him a warning - we can be forgiven for deducing therefore that they were looking for a reason to get rid of him.

BB obviously called Joel to the DR to get his take on things and they realized Aaron went too far.

It's sad it came to it, but Aaron was rightfully removed.

Totally - I didn't see a single HM who was 'offended' and although we didn't get to see them all, those we saw were laughing and several were encouraging Aaron who then played up to his audience.

So if Joel had said he found it funny Aaron would have stayed?

Ditto. Shameful that they let it run on.

Joel's chat in the DR was carefully edited so we can't know whether he went in there to complain, or whether BB called him and then asked questions.

I'm not a huge fan of Joel but I don't believe he set out to have Aaron removed.

To clarify, I agree Aaron was rightfully removed. I do not see why it took Joel going and talking to them to make that call.
Bless You

I think BB should've foreseen something like this occurring and stepped in days ago to remind Aaron of other people's personal space etc. and what could happen if he over-stepped the mark. He might still be in there and Joel wouldn't feel like it's his fault.

Poor Joel was being sexually harassed, laughed at by other housemates about it and big brother just let it go on for ages. Just waiting long enough for the situation to get out of hand so they could chuck out a housemate to boost ratings. Big brother should be ashamed of themselves.
