It seemed to me that he was answering direct questions. Like how did it make you feel? Response I felt my personal space was violated. Gotta say that was what I saw. I saw Aaron violate his personal space. I also would like to know for sure if they were locked in for the night or not at this point. Joel seemed trapped to me, the way he kept trying to find a way out of Aaron's way.

It wasn't a chat IMO it was BB questioning Joel as they did with Hazel.

I agree that BB should have stepped in earlier, and I share the suspicion some have expressed that BB was more interested in footage for the highlights. But BB has let some things go on too long in the past without kicking anyone out. So I don't agree with the "if they didn't want to kick Aaron out" part. Indeed, it didn't look like BB had decided Aaron would have to go until after what Joel said in the DR.

I think that's entirely possible, though Aaron might well still have received a formal warning.

Even if Joel had been called in and was answering BB's questions, he could have seen it as a chance to get Aaron out and shaped his answers accordingly.

Note that I'm not saying Joel did do that, just that it remains a possibility.

Probably only the Star- the others normally ignore the existence of BB nowadays.

It is obvious from the footage that he did not find it funny. He looked shocked.

It is a possibility, but I don't think Joel intended for Aaron to be ejected, he seemed shocked - added to which, he wouldn't want the other HMs blaming him for Aaron's removal - he knows Aaron was more popular than he is.

I still think that BB were after ratings and were more than happy to sacrifice Aaron - it would've been so easy to have stepped in much earlier if they wanted to keep Aaron in the house, while still being fair to both HMs.
