That is untrue. He did say he was sorry for Joel in the Diary Room.

Joel is homophobic. He's a Christian activist. How many of those believe in gay marriage?

I have no doubt in my mind that had it been a female or straight male housemate Joel would've been a lot more understanding that the person was drunk and didnt mean it in a malicious way.

I think Joel said he felt violated because Aaron is not only gay but has been telling Joel that he is secretly gay and kept saying sexual things to him since they got there.

I dont think BB had any intentions of removing Aaron until Joel went into the diary room and said he felt basically unsafe.

He is so loose that he has probably never had any man say no to him, he is a mess.

Totally agree.

Hope Joel gets evicted soon. Nasty piece of work. Don't know if he is homophobic or not, but Channel Five's response appears to be.

What a risable thing to say. You cannot go accusing a person of homobhobia based on nothing.

Oh and for what it's worth I know many Christitans who believe in gay marraige..last weekend in Ireland proved it.

I didn't realise that he was a Christian activist. Wonder what he thinks about revelations from the Methodist Church.

Joel is clearly immature and should never have been in the house.

Of course he should. Because he didn't like a man sexually harrassing him doesn't make him immature Are you for real

Of course Joel isn't homophobic - he shared a bath with Aaron for a start! He never said anything homophobic - he simply felt uncomfortable about the situation over the last few days... Aaron probably cannot understand that someone didn't fancy him! Would he like it if a women was all over him and waiting for him naked in his bed? I think not..

No. You can't blame anyone else for someone being homophobic.

Not every Christian disagrees with Gay Marriage. Lots do believe in Gay Marriage. You obviously have no understanding on this subject so I wouldn't go around expressing your views on it.

Everyone needs to calm down about this, we all will walk away with different feelings about what happened and will judge those involved (Aaron+Joel primarily) based on our own interpretations. Now through out the night and morning all we have had on DS is pointless bickering and attempts to silence some members for daring to have a view not shared by the majority, it is pathetic.

Forget the gender, it was unwanted sexual attention. Joel seemingly in previous HL shows made it crystal clear he likes women.

He didnt respect Joels sexuality, making a mockery of the hard fought for rights for gay and lesbians.

To now blame the victim is cowardly.

I agree

Aaron's behaviour fuels the idea that all gay men are sexual deviants who try to "convert their ways" to other men. Because that is what a lot of homphobes think.

Typical Aaron, blaming someone else because he can't control himself.

What on earth has the Methodist Church got to do with the fact that Aaron cannot control himself?

Sorry to inform you , just because you are a Christian doesn't mean you are homophobic.and as for gay marriage , people are either for or against irrespective of faith

That is totally wrong. Joel is not homophobic and actually handled the situation pretty well. He is young. Aaron is old enough to know better.

There are people in Ireland who just fought AGAINST gay marriage and they are gay - does that make them homophobic? No.

Christians may not believe it's right to be homosexual, but does that mean they are homophobic? No. Love the sinner, hate the sin...

Homophobes hate or fear homosexuals and from what I can tell Joel was fond of Aaron and wanted a friendship with him. Doesn't sound homophobic to me.

Not homophobic Aaron, just a guy who says he is straight, not wanting that sort of attention.

Homophobia encompasses a range of negative attitudes and feelings toward homosexuality or people who are identified or perceived as being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT).[1][2][3] It can be expressed as antipathy, contempt, prejudice, aversion, or hatred, may be based on irrational fear, and is sometimes related to religious beliefs.[4]

Id say they are homophobic. Love the sinner. What a load of shit.

Yep but its an irrational "hatred" because they are LGBT not beacuse of their actions. Criticising a gay persons actions doesnt make you homophobic and saying it does is just a weak and pathetic argument (not aimed at you there) intended to silence rather than engage.

To paraphrase Morgan Freeman: I wish people would stop using the term Homophobia, they arent phobic, they're just arseholes.

It's not homophobic if a straight guy doesn't want a dick in his face! Jesus wept...
