I think he is just nervous in front of camera. He looks quite awkward a lot of the time. I do think he is the most 'normal' person in the house, however.

Not hopeful though as he's the type who just coast right through to the final

An inability to look someone in the eye when talking to them is them being shifty or them not liking the person, it is not them being awkward.
Awkward is Nick having to stand up and talk in public. But awkward Nick can look Jade in the eye when talking/flirting with her, that's a more genuine friendship.
Danny is not awkward. He books hotels in strange towns and cities so he has somewhere to take the local slappers when out on the pull every weekend with his boys. Hardly the actions of someone awkward around women.
His sole topic of conversation for the first two days was about hooking up with someone to spoon with. His whole gameplan was to have a fake romance. The only problem was that all the females he really fancied all have boyfriends and the one that hasn't got a boyfriend, he doesn't fancy her in any way and therefore can't look her in the eye when discussing their failed fake romance.
