Obviously Joel was called in the middle of the night to discuss the incident, but maybe instead of just calling Aaron to the DR this morning to boot him out, I personally feel they possibly should have called Joel in again to discuss how he felt about what had happened (now the drink had wore off) and if he felt comfortable enough to be around Aaron for the rest of their time in the house.

Obviously if it was still uncomfortable for Joel, then BB could have made their move.

It just all feels too hasty and wrong, even Joel was gutted Aaron had been removed.

They did ask Joel how he felt. He said he was uncomfortable.

Joel was just trying to save face. Sad really but he has his politics to think about.

I think if they'd told Joel they were going to dump Aaron out Joel would have write the incident off a bit more and discouraged BB to do so. I know some people do, but I don't think Joel is devious enough to build it all up to "get rid of competition". He liked Aaron. He was one of his closer friends in there.

Edited the first post.

I meant this morning before the removal.

No. If they asked Joel, they would have been accused of condoning Aaron's behaviour and pressurising Joel to legitimise it.

When you start blurring the lines about sexual harassment, no one understands the rules, and the victim gets blamed.

Joel never said anything about being uncomfortable with Aaron, he just he was uncomfortable with Aaron's actions in that moment. He certainly never said anything about not being comfortable with Aaron in the house or whatever. I think it was silly to remove him.

I agree, OP.

I think the DR interview with Joel was the following morning. He wasn't in his dressing gown - he was fully clothed.

maybe they did ask him again this morning, they don't show us everything. it might even be on tomorrow's show.

But that is why people get removed, for their miscreant behaviour which goes beyond acceptable boundaries .

It's all immaterial, BB wanted Aaron out for publicity purposes, there would be mileage in just warning him.

Aaron couldn't be trusted around Joel imo

Really? I don't recall Helen getting removed.

BB put him out because repeatedly exposing yourself is a no-no even for BB.

Aaron was a horrible housemate and a sex pest. They were right to get rid of him, and he gave them all the reasons they needed.

If it had been rigged I wouldn't have complained either.

Doubt that's the reason they wanted him out. The real reason is that Ofcom would have received a million complaints about C5 allowing sexual harassment to go unpunished.

The point would have been made that it is no different for a naked man to rub himself against an unwilling man as rubbing himself against an unwilling woman. That would violate anti-discrimination laws.

Put simply, a world of hurt would have come C5's way, threatening the very existence of the programme. They acted to forestall that and protect the show.

I hold BB partially responsible for supplying too much alcohol to the house . Demon drink causes a lot of regretful actions, which people are so remorseful for, the morning after .

It's also worth noting that Joel wasn't wearing his dressing gown in the Diary Room which suggests to me they called him when he was either asleep or trying to fall asleep. Did Marcus Bentley state the time Joel was in the Diary Room? I can't remember now.

Joel doesn't make any of the shows decisions, the producers and people in charge wanted Aaron out, so he's out.....

On BOTS it showed the clip of Joel getting called in the diary room at 2:15pm

I don't think Joel had any say in the matter.

It was very clear for all to see that Aaron took it way too far.

Joel is 19 and a straight Virgin, the young lad was mortified and didn't have a clue how to handle the situation whilst the rest of the house giggled on.
Aaron was sexually harassing Joel. Full Stop.

Big Brother saw it and we all saw it. It was clearly sexual harassment.

If repeatedly exposing genitals was unacceptable Aaron would have been called to the DR long before the umteenth time he did it..

2.15pm today? I'm surprised they left it that long before talking to him.
