I really miss watching the live feed late into the night like the old days
I really miss watching the live feed late into the night like the old days when it was on channel 4 it was so awesome and getting to see what the housemates got up to during the early hours. Remember when the red button excisted and you could switch rooms to see what they were doing in each room. Channel 5 really have killed Big Brother

I remember BB2, (the one Brian Dowling won) where you could go interactive on E4 and select which room you watched live. That was the series in which I watched the most live action as it was also the launch of Big Brother's Little Brother and E4 itself and it seemed they really expanded from the year previous to that.

BB2 is where they had that interactive E4 stuff and I love switching between rooms and then watching it late at night

How could you keep a job down doing this?
How can you work, go to college, have a life if you are watching Big Brother all day? In the early years when I was out of work, it was the season fat Gus was in, I enjoyed the live feed but these days I'm older and just to busy to watch Big Brother 24 hours. |

Don't we all and the 24minutes have been cancelled tonight.
C5 still don't get it, to maximise viewers you need to give as many viewers what they want, otherwise they switch off, something many people have done. |

what has annoyed some of us is that the plan was to put the live feed on MTV back in January but then for some reason which so far we cannot find out,it was shelved

I miss it too. Many of the best BB moments were on live feed. Even when it stopped I remember there being a secret channel that you could get on sky to watch it.

Why the reluctance to have live feed in the UK, pretty much everywhere else has some...is it fear of the offence happy public and Ofcom? Did we do this to ourselves?

BB5 was where I really got addicted to live feed. Used to stay up until unholy hours watching it> I went on the 02 Big Brother chat room at the time as well so there was always people to discuss it with

I have a feeling that people tend to see live feed through the rosy prism of nostalgia. The reality was like watching paint dry for 95% of the time, and the incessant tweeting birds and aeroplane sounds used to drive me bugshit. However, having said that, it was nice to be able to dip in at any given time of day whenever the mood arose. |

Yes I'll admit it was tedious, but when things kicked off it was excellent! My aunt always recorded the LF overnight and used to FF every morning looking for the kick offs! She is still watching at 94 years of age

The good times. Back then, i could forgive BB when they would come up with stupid twists because i always had live feed to cheer me up.

I must be in the minority that don't really miss it. I only watched it after evictions and when there was nothing else on TV. I found it boring as hell.
I miss 6pm BBLB though |
