Isnt their a long training process involed, first? I know holyjokes is ridiculuous at the best of times but this is bad.

Mind you that older hot cop is nice, ive seen him before somewheir. Anotherthing that angers me is how court trials happen so quickly in soapland.

Example, A is raped by B and after a few weeks the big trial begins! Now, as a point of fact, the average waiting time for a trial is 12 to 15 months after the accussed is charged. The crown have to find a slot in a court to hold it, and they are all fully booked for a year in adavance.

Not watched it yet but guessing he may be on the job as just a probationary officer (which lasts for 2 years)

Jason is a Police Community Support Officer, much shorter training programme, between a month and three months depending on whether you train full or part time.

Was he not in hospital to deal with his eating disorder up to only a month or so ago.

The other cop said he was fast tracking Jason into the actual police.

Becoming a PCSO is a common backdoor entry into the regular Police, but fast tracking after a couple of days is pure fantasy a minimum of a years service as a PCSO is required for fasttracking to probationairy Police Constable normally two years.

Ben Richards was Nate Roberts in The Bill but he was also a regular on Footballer's Wives.

Jack put in a good word for Jason to the cop who was an old friend when the said cop was questioning Jason's ability...

I thought it was something along those lines. As if he would be fast tracked with a medical problem too. I agree that only being a PCSO for a day or two then being fast tracked is ridiculous. It wouldn't be just be down to one person either as I think there would be all sorts of forms to fill in and be signed off higher up.

What soap are you referring to? I thought it was about Jason in Corrie, last seen being a builder.

It is Kirkwood's lack of grip on reality talking again.

Just a few episodes previously, Lindsey said something to Simone about squatter's rights....I'm pretty sure squatting was criminalised a few years ago.

It's illegal to squat a residential property. The police can get you out immediately without the need of the property owner going to court to evict you.

Conversely, Lindsey as the tenant couldn't be evicted overnight, Simone would have to give notice and everything else. But I was prepared to overlook that just to see Lindsey and get thrown out on the street
