Corrie fire was a BRILLIANT stunt sequence
I know a lot of people were not impressed with the fire/explosion in corrie this week but i thought it was amazing.
Some incredible direction of the actions sequences. I loved all the high shots from the drone scanning over the devastation. Brilliant stunt sequence, very impressive. I hope soaps will now start employing drone cameras as they really amp up the quality |

The stunts and special effects were good yes.
The writing on the other hand |

The special effects were impressive, although why did it take one person at a time to go down the ladder? Couldn't two have gone down at once?

The fire was as real as a controlled fire could be and it felt like a lot a effort had been made. The fact that the actors were in the set as it burnt was good.
But the cliched storyline, dodgy script and some really bad acting let it down. It highlighted where Corrie is struggling. Sack the script & storyline writers and sack a few of the actors. And also sack a certain man in a Hat ![]() The foundations of Corrie are there, it just needs some tweaking. |

Stunts were okay. The direction, writing, and a fair portion of the acting were awful.
