No - that in effect was 'banter', ( even Aaron reacted like that -I don't imagine he was seeing some deep love reciprocated all of a sudden), we might just as easily have heard Nick say the same thing.
When you consider Nick and his 'banter' with Jade, could you imagine him, after a few drinks, stripping off, thrusting his dick at her and trying to jump on her as being in anyway OK. (would it still be banter?)
It appears that Aaron is a bit Jekyll and Hyde between that clip and when he has had a few drinks, when he becomes a menace and a pest.

I have to agree Joel was smirking and half laughing throughout and the whole thing seemed like a jape.I would say that Aaron was embarrassing him rather than intimidating him. I have seen similar if not worse, instances in BB that did not even warrant a warning
I am not victim blaming because there is no victim here, just a drunk person who went too far in a joke, partly because he was egged on. Aaron deserved to be warned and he owed Joel an apology but he did not deserve to be ejected.I don't think the ejection did Joel any favours either.
As the poster above said Joel had no problem being assertive with other Hms and even telling them he hated them. Saying he hoped Jade would be scalded in the bath.He is not shy about expressing his feelings.Why could he not have slammed down Aaron the same way. I can see Sarahs point and it makes me wonder about Joel. Why the dressing up if he is so determinedly straight, I think Aarons flamboyance was a threat to him as its the part he wants to play.I feel the whole incident has been blown out of proportion here and on BB.

Eileen was right when she told her that she does take sides. This was after Sarah was pretending to be the fair mediator - but was really just butting in.

It is possible he did not want it to turn nasty and so did not use an angry tone. That doesn't mean he was OK with it really.

I can only imagine what would have happened if one of the girls were disrespected in the same way. There'd have been furious rows and meltdowns.
It's clear some of them think very little of Joel as this was the 3rd or 4th time some of them have been egging Aaron on to do something to Joel.
I'm just glad Joel let BB know he was uncomfortable and the other housemates have had a severe wake-up call. The silly gits.
If joel had got really angry, arron may have carried on using his sexuality to goad him but everyone else would have been clear it was unwanted provocation.
Im not saying Joel was sending mixed signals, it just wasn't an absolute one. Joel's a complex character, obviously confident but then also very unconfident in that situation.
It will be interesting to see what the actual conversation was. Whether Sarah was implying Joel was asking for it or he should have been more assertive earlier.

I agree and she possibly heard, at that stage, about Harriet's warning and was being very defensive.
Joel just isn't experienced enough in that way to read sexual advances and in turn stop them. I think the reason he didn't kiss Aaron, wasn't because he didn't want to - it's probably because he hasn't kissed anybody before.
What Sarah is insinuating here, is that because Joel carries on (after Aaron's removal) dressing in women's clothes etc... he must have led Aaron on in some way? Hmmm
