Did you try turning wi-fi sharing off but still using the Homehub? I suspect the problems you were having had little to do with sharing.

Are BT able to see information regarding individual masts? The mast in my area has certainly gone down but BT say it's apparently my problem and that the network is fine in my area. I'm adamant it's not!

Does this keep happening to anyone else? Seems to happen around when my Direct Debit comes out each month.

I had that the other day. The only difference i could tell at the time was i was accessing it over 4G rather than 3G or 2G. I just let it set up again and all was well.

Been looking at bt mobile sim only, since i got my new phone a couple of weeks back. Good cashback from quidco just now -

High - £80
Med - £65
Lite - £30

I went with the lite, with my bt customer discount, the 12 month sim will only cost me £30

My cashback tracked last night and my sim arrived this morning. Dont think i bought the sim till 3pm yesterday. Popped in my sim and it comes up as EE for the sim but bt, for where it says services. It also states a constant 4g. The big test will come tonight when i try it at work, couldnt get a 3 signal at all.

Stupid question, when i am at home and i use my phone, my sim is on and my phone is connected to wifi, if i go onto the web is wifi the default? My 1/2 gig isnt alot.

Yes if you're connected to wifi it'll use that, and not your mobile data allowance (Unless your wifi drops for any reason)

Fully updated and factory reset the Galaxy S4 I was using for vodafone on sunday and popped the BT SIM in. That also says EE instead of BT, so i'm assuming that's normal since everything works anyway.

Surprised the SIM doesn't store its network name on it. Orange SIMs used to be like that, and a SIM update could change it. Mind you, back in the day handsets also needed to be set to read the SIM and override the preset stored ID.
