Michael McIntyre - 9/10
Jimmy Carr - 1/10
Alan Carr - 0/10
Sarah Millican - 2/10
Dec - 10/10
Ant - 7/10

As so often with impressionists I thought the jokes were pretty lame but most of the impressions
were awful.

The only really good ones were the "seen it all before" McIntyre and the very good Dec.
It was obvious right away that it was him. Some of the others you would never guess if
he didn't say the name or you couldn't see the mannerisms.

Are you watching the same show as me?

Michael McIntyre seems to be the go to voice for impressionists nowadays just like Frank Spencer & Bruce Forsyth was popular with impressionists 20/30 years ago.

He did a very good Michael, an OK Jimmy Carr although he got the facial expressions of Jimmy down to a T, a mediocre Alan C, the Sarah Millican started off well but went on too long. It's a shame Amanda is wearing a more covered up dress tonight as the "it's rude to point" comments and the references to her boobs would have made more sense. His Ant & Dec were good especially his facial expression of Dec.

Awful Jimmy and Alan Carr

I thought all the impressions were bang on and he made me laugh out loud. I'd give him 8 or 9 out of 10, as he could better it by doing people I like better

Yes.

Wasn't fussed about his audition but thought his impressions were all brilliant tonight.

Thought he was good. Mass negativity yet again on the DS forum.

Just being honest!

He was one of the favs to go through but I guarantee he isn't going through after that.

the voices were not always perfect, but the jokes and the general impressions (facial expressions and body language) were very good.

i would like to see him perform again

No, not just to be negative about every act. 2/10 some of them have given his impressions. Ridiculous!

End of the pier, not very funny, not great impressions

Alan Carr was disappointing. A distinctive voice like that should be fairly easy to do.

The Dec impression was the best, the Michael McIntyre one good but the rest were poor. I think it's hard for an impressionist to take on a comedian and make it funny because a lot of them exaggerate their speech and mannerisms for comic effect already. I think impressions are funnier when they pick up on something that the subject does which wasn't obvious and meant to be funny.

That might be the most sensible critique of his act on this forum

His Dec was worth a 9/10 whereas McIntyre was very average so...

Michael McIntyre - 5/10
Jimmy Carr - 4/10
Alan Carr - 3/10
Sarah Milligan - 5/10
Dec - 9/10
Ant - 4/10

His material was better than his impressions so I voted for him.

He had a funny script so that made up for the impressions. But i thought the impressions were pretty good imo. He was funny all the way through. Seems very confident too making jokes with Simon after his performance. Seems a genuine fella who wants to make good for his family His Jimmy Carr laugh was spot on
