Surely Callum Logan from Corrie. If not wooden a laughable villain about as scary as Christopher Biggins.

Izzy from Corrie. I don't know what's least convincing, her acting or her accent.

The Nazir parents - every line said in a very stilted manner, they are pantomime/Am Dram.

Tina's mother, for the brief time they brought her in after Tina died. Shocking!

Claire Peacock in Corrie was awful. Kirin in Emmerdale. Mark Wilde - I was glad when his wife shot him in Emmerdale as he was horrendous.

Debbie Dingle always struck me as a bit wooden - though I haven't watched Emmerdale much for a while. She could have improved.

She hasn't. She's still soulless, emotionless, expressionless and seems to have misplaced her kids again as they've vanished so she can rush off to illegal fights or prance about in her one black dress with ankle boots ensemble. Still Ali has gone for the time being so that's always a bonus.

Alya is a bit wooden - she always seems to talk and smile through clenched teeth.

She wasn't too bad tonight though.

I think thats her character though because Charley Webb can certainly emote when required.

Now now! She's a friend of mine and thought she was quite good. She was just given hurrendous story lines.

Wooden acting is no worse than gurning, OTT hammy panto crap acting. There's loads of them in soaps. But not being a good actor doesn't matter in soaps. Helen Worth in CS is shockingly bad but Gail is a great chatacter all the same.
But for wooden, Kirin in ED is more wooden than Epping Forrest. Brian Tilsley in CS was world class wooden.

In my bit of the Real World. Some of my friends can tell a good story and make people laugh, others can tell the same story and it is just plain boring. Some really get on my nerves, while others are welcomed into my home with open arms. Some actors can handle comedy, but they are unable to cry. Others are asked to play boring parts and do it well. Until we got to know dear old Roy Cropper a lot of people said that he was a terrible actor. But we now know he is great. So before we label anyone Wooden, let's wait and see.

Adam Barlow and Warren Baldwin in Corrie were horrendous. I'm not sure who was worse.

you just hit the nail on the head, she is not wooden she plays her part very well

I don't understand these threads cos half the people people choose are not wooden, they are playing a character and doing it well.

not everyone has the same personality, has the same emotions and reacts to situations the same.

I thought Ken Barlow was a bit wooden when he was trying to console Kal's parents in last nights corrie. The parents were equally as wooden though. I hadn't watched corrie in four months but I knew from this forum that Kal had died. However if I hadn't known and had just turned on the channel at that particular scene I would have thought that it was a pet that had died rather than their son given how badly acted I thought the grief was.
