How awful are those Disney girls. You can't tell me they're better than that dancing kid from Gibraltar or the karate girl

I think they could have a career singing at kids parties. They could make a decent living from
that. The Disney princess group idea is a good one.

The thing is, I don't think I could bring myself to even judge them as an act on their own merit, simply because of how much contempt I have for any reference that film and that song which almost makes John Legend seem underplayed.

I understand the love for Disney, but why not do something unique like dress up as Monsters Inc characters and belt out a version of 'If I didn't have you'... maybe they'd stand out much better as an act if they chose a Disney film that didn't already have 14687656 versions/covers to compare to.

I thought they were far more entertaining than both of the two acts that you refer to.

I agree it was the wrong song but not because it's overplayed (although you're right about the other one being more obscure as I've no idea how it goes despite having seen Monsters Inc.). It was the wrong song because it requires one to be a pretty incredible singer to get it right. The only version I've heard that is any good is Idina Menzel's from the film
and even she has to work hard to get it right when she performs live.

Normally, the show is full of 10 year olds dressing up like adults and singing songs way too old for them. This lot were the opposite. Grown adults dressing like 8 year olds and singing a song for pre schoolers.

I found it nauseatingly twee
