Calum Scott.

Sounds like so many other people that are in the chart. Not impressed.

Was so boring, yet another slowed down dirge. So predictable.

Hope he doesn't win

Well if you go on YouTube he posted a video singing Dancing On My Own a year ago.

He didn't "audition" at all. I smell a producer approached his agent and bagged him a place in the final. They just used his sister as a cover story to big him up. He was always going to win his semi final regardless of who he was up against.

If Calum was an incredible talent I'd understand the appeal, but he really is average imo. I don't understand what makes him so special, and the fact he got Simon's golden buzzer makes the whole thing even more curious.

I'll quite happily eat humble pie if Calum goes on to become an international recording artist with a million selling album in the UK and cracks the American music market.

Yeah I remember when voices like that were 'unique' a few years ago but now everyone sounds like that. Nothing new or special.

His performance was okay, it's because Simon golden buzzed him that puts me off more than anything. His smugness will be will be so unbearable if that guy wins. There are better acts in the final, so I don't think he will.

Maybe it's too easy to make comparisons but look at the anti climax that was X Factor 2014.

The media made a massive deal about the return of Simon (and Cheryl). Simon ends up with two acts in the final sending out a fake message to the public that Simon made the right decision to return.

The winner was a bland male singer with stubble who had an ok voice but nothing remarkable about him. Calum Scott is basically the winner of X Factor 2014 - just younger. They all blend into each other and that's why it's boring imo.

Ben Haenow and Calum Scott will add nothing new to the music industry so why bother? Then they moan because album sales are so poor. As Homer Simpson once said "D'OH!!!".

Dull and boring. Simon sees pound signs, however.

I found the act boring and tedious, but at least he wasn't cocky and arrogant like Isaac. Still, I don't support either and I have no idea why the public backed them.

It wasn't the "public" as such.

I'd be very surprised if there were any males who voted for either Issac or Calum.

Issac might come across as more arrogant than Calum, but when it comes to singing Issac was spot on last night. Calum, considering his hype, was crap and that's why I'm refusing to buy into the whole Calum thing one bit.

I doubt he'd win X Factor. The judges comments seemed so forced and false about him.

I don't get why he's on BGT when he's clearly more suited to X Factor.

But from his point of view bgt is much easier to win than the x factor. In bgt he only has to sing 3 times to win whereas in the x factor he is not only having to perform week after week but he also competing against loads of other singers that are just as good or better than he is.

It always amazes me how many people are still influenced by Cowell

I don't care if Callum was Simon's golden buzzer act, I don't care how Callum was picked for the show, all I know is right from his first audition and now his semi final performance Callum has impressed me by his fantastic voice, his smooth tone, he is just the kind of artist I can appreciate and find appealing and I genuinely think he has the potential to have a successful career in the music industry.... I for one want to listen to him a lot more.

Very true! Didn't really think of it like that

He should be on the x factor. This is a set up by Cowell, it's really the only type of act he knows how to make money from. This is not a variety show.

He is just so similar to the two guys that won The Voice and XF. its the same old thing that people seem to vote for and it's becoming one big yawn.
