there have been other impressionists previously on the show that have been MILES better than this guy. he was so terrible, don't know why he got such positive comments.

They criticised andrew Fleming for announcing who he was doing, but this guy did exactly the same.

Agree with the OP regarding this.

There have been better impressionists but I thought he was pretty good tonight. A massive improvement from his audition.

OMG! The other guy was slated on Tuesday, now it's this guy's turn! Cannot believe how everyone just criticises every act and they are all "the worst yet".

if you compare these 2 to previous years or just in general, they were both awful. but especially the bald guy. andrew could at least do the voices, he just had bad material.

I do agree, I say it every year if a impressionist feels they needs to tell you who they are doing, they should not be doing it, and unfortunately for this guy tonight he did not even have to do it, as you could perfectly tell who he was!!

for me, he's been poor from the start. he didn't bring anything new. most impressionists will end up doing Michael McIntyre and Alan Carr for one thing.

The ant and dec stuff was funny but it was a bit of a cheap pop because he wasn't really setting the world on fire up until that point

I was struggling to understand what he was saying at times which must've been the reason why he wasn't getting the laughs at first.

Then he said something about not wearing a bra, following by a comment directly at Amanda followed by nervous laughter. What did he say?

He said "it's rude to point" which was a reference to the dress she wore in the auditions where you could see her nipples (not literally see them of course, but let's just say it must have been cold that day!)

I wouldn't go that far. He was quite good.....for an impressionist

Have to agree with most views here ....not impressed and flattering the judges and presenters is an easy but insincere ploy.

I'd say he's been on the road long enough over his career to know that if he's losing the crowd, he goes with the easy crowd pleasers to turn it around.

I'd imagine that for his final appearance, at the very least we'll have John Bishop, Harry Hill, Dot Cotton and someone like Lorraine Kelly or Eamon Holmes.

I thought some of his material was ok and he got some of the mannerisms of the people he did impressions of right. But he just didn't sound like them to me. Andrew Fleming was the opposite - poor material and a bit too deadpan but he sounded exactly like most of the people he was impersonating. I don't think Posthill is good enough to be in the final and he won't win but I would like to see Fleming get voice work in something like Newzoids.

Well who knew the comments were scripted (or "suggested") so that the machine keeps
on chugging? Surely there will be a change to this type of entertainment...

Were they having a dig at the guy on Tuesday when going on about having a personality? They were clearly having a dig at someone, very bad form.

? ? ? Were you watching the same show that I was?
A big let down from his first audition.
Same tired old impressions, only this time Sarah Millican, Alan Carr weren't so good.
What are the panel on?
I really expected them to comment on how poor his performance was, instead they praised him!
Must be easily satisfied.
I thought the other impressionist was far better, yet they gave him a hard time.

I didn't recognise as many of his impressions in his auditions as I did with his semi final performance. His Alan Carr was brilliant IMO and sounded just like him.

Suggest you listen carefully to the first audition where the Alan Carr impression was better.
In the semi final. The pitch was too low
