Both sucked at impressions, but the one who was on last night did have better material.

I completely agree, but some of the other posters on here have different ears!

Dec and Mcintrye were brill, the rest were awful voices but mannerisms spot on, dont think he's good enough based on 2 voices alone and cringeworthy the way he has to tell you who he is doing- I bet you couldn't even guess if he didnt tell you !

The whole "If Michael McIntyre was even posher he would sound like Jimmy Carr" type of presentation has been done for years and by far more experienced impersanators than Danny Posthill so it's not an issue to me.

Alistair McGowan used to do it in every single show, for a start.

One of Danny's problems is his accent, if you don't tone it down for TV (Like Ant & Dec did as they got more popular over the years) then it's difficult for viewers to understand what you're saying.

IMO his impressions were actually quite a lot poorer than Andrew Fleming's but his material was stronger

His Alan Carr is woeful.

He's Alan Carr was awful. He's McIntyre is good and so is he's Dec the others are awful. He's better at the mannerisms than the actual voices.

You missed out the word 'badly' after 'Simon'. But yes, he's bound to include that in his performance.

Yes, I thought the same.

IMO, he wasn't amazing. That John Clegg chap last year was FAR superior! This guy last night did get a BIT better as he went on, and his Ant and Dec impression was good, but they are easy to do, and other impressionists on there have done them before; and now it seems he is going to do Simon next *yawn.*

His Jimmy Carr was awful IMO, and his Alan Carr wasn't much better. His Sarah Millican was fairly good, but again; an easy one to do.

Made me cringe when that little girl started crying when she wasn't picked. She came THIRD out of 9 or 10 acts FGS; that is GOOD.

And she kept sucking that staff or whatever it was she had. She was obviously nervous and anxious, and it was probably a good idea that she didn't go through. And if she is going to blub every time she gets rejected, then she is in the wrong industry.

That'll be when we truly know how skilled he is as a impressionist. I have a feeling that if he doesn't get Simon's voice right, Simon will buzz him.

I thought his Alan Carr was awful. Didn't sound like him at all but I thought his Ant and Dec impressions and all the others were brilliant. I'm glad he got through.
