We won't have anymore complacent housemates after this.

I don't blame them for doing this..

....but a well produced show can still be entertaining even if the housemates are fairly bland.....thanks to well thought out tasks/competitions, rewards, a strong structure and a format that is always clear, open and respectful to the viewers (if not the housemates).

They've kicked the shit out of the show in recent years....and their solution is to slap make-up on it rather than fix the underlying problems. When the show succeeds these days it's despite the producers.

As long as the production side passes the blame onto the housemates and doesn't take it on themselves....the show will keep sinking.

The producers failed to manipulate all the HM's through the tasks, they didnt get a showmance they obviously want, so they decide to kick out 4 HM's to put in Cliched BB HM's who will all have been told to stir it up

I blame the producers

Well i do blame the producers, they have messed up the show. The reason it's such a mess is because of the constant manipulation, interfering, fixing and last years show.

It was designed to get Simon back in, they want him to be the Perez of the show. The new ones are just filler. Showbiz is the one they are relying on.

They had been really dull.

I can see 'Showbiz' losing them a lot of viewers.

I totally blame the production, they have totally ruined BB gradually since it has been on Channel 5. For the first time in years I liked the mix of the housemates but the reason why BB has reached rock bottom now is that we only see what they want us to see. All we get is just 45 mins of edited highlights, live updates are few and far between. This stopped being BB ages ago as I don't think that the housemates were/are deadwood the fact is that we just don't know as 45 mins a day is not enough to know the characters.

BB needs to go back to the great social experiment it used to be or axe it, I have watched from day one and this is no longer BB.

The production team need to be replaced or need to look back at the first few series to see how it is meant to be run. Other countries get it right but yet again UK viewers get the 7th class version.

He will probably gain them viewers. People want to see a character causing shit and annoying people and changing the dynamics. Word of mouth gets out that BB is mental with arguments, more viewers tune in.

This series has been (bar the twists) one of the most normal series. People didn't like it so they did this.

I think from now ratings will decrease but who knows.

I think Sarah made the point when she was interviewed, on a routine day they all got on and I think it must have been difficult to pull out the "best" bits. They could have carried on with those awful debate type tasks contrived to ensure a fall out i suppose.

If I am not mistaken the original premise was to put a cross section of the community together in a house for several weeks and see how they act and interact. Once you start messing with their heads it deviates from what it was. Even if all the tasks had been fun competition would have set it and there would have been disharmony.

There would have been tension and blow ups anyway with the characters who were in there, I really don't like the caricatures of housemates who have replaced genuine, and i say this with respect, ordinary people. Are we developing a taste for cruelty as entertainment. This series must have given the producers sleepless nights!

Tonight would have been alright if it was a vote to save with only one or two going. Chloe would have went and it wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference. If it was two then hopefully it would have been Danny next.

With a vote to evict, all they've done is made sure that not one, but four housemates with the tiniest bit of controversy in them are evicted. Sarah especially is a big loss to the show and the twins had more to offer in the long run. Harriet? I don't like her but she's been at the centre of a few arguments and a decent lad like Kieran has been swapped with a typical lad with big muscles and bleached teeth. Yeah, that's what we wanted...

If I was in charge of tonight I would have put Simon Showbiz back in (now that Aaron is gone he is needed). The girl with big boobs wasn't necessary at this point, but I might have chucked her in anyway, or even later down the line. But Sam and Marc? Useless.

This was the single most desperate act by the producers yet. They have NO clue what they're doing. This was evident on the first night when they evicted a housemate guaranteed to bring drama. They brought him back three weeks later which i'm fine with but i'm not happy about everything else.

Maybe that's not exciting enough for many, but it's what I like to watch.

Now they've mucked it all up - I'm bored, and probably won't bother again this series.”

Couldn't have put it better myself.

I completely agree with this. I'm glad they put Simon back in, as I liked the timebomb twist of going back to the past and I think he will be a decent housemate, who will be annoying but funny in equal measure.

The other three new housemates are pointless though and I would have just evicted the one housemate tonight and not brought in any new ones. I didn't mind the twins going, but I liked Harriet Sarah and Kieran and I'm disappointed they have gone.
