sadly they can't switch from VTE TO VTS at this stage it's too late , i don't understand why they switched back to VTE anyway because VTS were channel 5's ''thing'' as it were , we could of had a very different outcome tonight

I would agree that they couldn't switch it now.
However the way they make things up as they go along, the way they throw in these random twists and put whoever the hell they like for eviction , I see no reason why they can't swap the voting system .

Though other than Jade are there really any interesting characters left ?

I think they will struggle for voting revenue now whether it's VTS or VTE !
