In a lowly lit room Frankie paced, she was becoming concerned as each second passed, her guests spoke in hushed tones, and their words scared her more, terms that she thought were fairy tales were used as though everyday language, The Shadow, the Witch, Hexs , even spell casting became normal. She had started to question if her choices were right, to accept this in order to have Jack in her life, loyal and obedient, yet love wasn’t real, just a spell cast. Her crystal ball sat in the corner covered so she would not be tempted to glance at it and see what the future held, a tall white crystal on the table crackled and fizzed then flickered. Ste was closest so picked it up and slapped it against his hand until it glowed, it then projected an image
“Wonky good of you to join us” Ste grinned as Wonky’s image was projected from the crystal to the floor in a life size image, “This is all of us, shall I make introductions?” He asked the others nodded “This is Wonky he has a connection to Queen Chase, This is Snuggles” he pointed to a kindly old man with curly hair and thick rimmed glasses, he is the partner?” Ste shrugged looking for re assurance” of Madness McQueen, This is Kol Mikaelson” Ste introduced a young handsome blonde blue eyed man, who smirked slightly upon hearing his name, “He’s in the same coven as the witch Chelsea, hes….”
“Don’t you worry what I am darling, I know my role in all this” Kol had a hint of humour in his voice and a scary undertone that showed he was older that his image suggested
“Whats that supposed to mean?” Frankie was scared, she hid it with anger
“My reputation and that of my family is known, there was a time when my brother Nik’s name would bring fear into the hearts of all who heard it, “ he turned to a woman they were yet to be introduced to, “You and your cousin, Chewy? You know the name Niklaus Mikaelson” the woman nodded nervously “So use my host bodies name Kaleb, we don’t want too many people knowing of my involvement, a 1000 years of killing and chaos doesn’t help when you want a low profile” he laughed
“Ok, “ Ste continued, “This is Meg, Chewy’s cousin,” The woman was pretty in her mid 30s “Shes a shifter, though mostly a wolf, most of your family has werewolf blood although you hide it,” he turned to Frankie” This is queen Frankie, she holds the heart of King Jack, Chase intends to get him back, we wont let that happen” Frankie smiled in thanks to Ste’s comment, “And finally we have Dennis, Daffy’s brother, he longs to be returned with his sister who was kidnapped a few weeks ago and turn to our group to ensure her safety” The young man looked very scared and tired as though he had not slept in a while, “And I am Ste, I can contact the shadow, he and I have an agreement, he does favours for me as I do them for him”
“So why are we here?” demanded Snuggles
“We have connections to a group who it has been foretold will bring down the shadow, we need to split this group and remove the powers they have, I can give you each items which will limit the damage they can do, we can safely remove any power they could have, making them human and, returning them to you safely,” Ste looked proud, Kol looked at him doubting anything he said was true, but wanted to see how this would play out.
“So the first step is…..”
Chelsea jumped as she heard the door handle of the room being opened, the smoke and images she was watching this play out on disappeared, she glanced at Chewy and both nodded this stayed between them
Madness entered the room, holding an old sock, “will this help with the tracking spell?” she asked, to which Chelsea nodded, and set to work at casting a spell to locate Snuggles, even though she and Chewy knew where they were, she dare not break Madness’s heart and suggest Snuggles was in on it before she knew the whole story,
Chewy also knew what Madness cared to deeply for Snuggle to accept this, she wanted to know the whole story as well
