As long as Calum doesn't win, I'm happy

Seems like a lovely guy, but so Middle of the Road. His voice is alright (nothing "spectacular") but if he wanted to be a singer, why not audition for X Factor? or The Voice? Bland and boring for a variety talent show imo.

Not helped by Cowell's smugness whenever he performs.

I hope UDI win because they're talented and they're not going to use their money on themselves, they said they're going to use it on disadvantaged children.

Yep. To paraphrase this thread: As long as UDI win, I'm happy.

I don't think he should have been in the final.

But he seems to be Simon's chosen one.

He was bloody awful. He's got that typical modern voice which thirty years ago would have sounded dreadful.
He completely murdered that song. It was the bit that builds up to the chorus that goes "So come on baby won't you show some class, why you want to move so fast". When they sing that part on the original the backing music sounds like it's building up to a chorus but they changed some of the notes so it didn't sound like it was building up to anything.

I think acts like this should be put forward to X Factor...sadly if he was on X factor I don't think hed be up to standard

Really don't get why Simon loves him so much. He's alright and reminds me a lot of Will Young, but I wouldn't ever have picked him as the winner. Why didn't he go on X factor?

Given the build up and the pre-show hype I was expecting something special.

Sadly, he was just average - very disappointing indeed.

Good voice but hated his song ad performance last night. I prefer Isaac out of the two boy singers

OMG, like I said on another thread earlier; I thought it was just me. He is a cute sweet boy with a reasonable talent, but he is nothing spectacular, and no better than 1000s of other young lads. And he is as dull as ditchwater!

He is only in the final - as someone else said - because he is the chosen one - Cowell's chosen one.

He was average. Not great. And I agree with the poster who said his voice is like many other singers right now; that coarse, harsh, gravelly, drawling voice.

I bet he wins. All the little girls who are obsessed with him and how 'totes adorbs' he is will make sure of that!

Yeah, I don't get it. He was just so mediocre. Nothing stands out about him

He sounded like Jay James from last year's X Factor to me.

Acts like this only get though because of young girls voting with their hormones,

Totally agree, reminds me of Jai McDowall..

His voice is, to me, tolerable but that's it. I thought his song in the semi-final was a ridiculous choice for one to 'make his own' (i.e. copy someone else's version from Live Lounge or similar). What's this obsession in recent years with slowing down upbeat songs?
