So how are you getting that? out of interest and being able to do manual band selection? which device....

I think the LG G3 is going to be supported soon, so I might flash the Three firmware on it so that I can enable it.

I know someone in the Executive office and I've been speaking to him today, 3 are having quite a few problems at the moment with 800 in quite a few areas and Wakefield is one of them, poor signal etc when it should be strong bla bla they are well aware of it and are working hard to fix it where those that have been pumped and are not pumping you know why now, maybe EE have the same issues hence their delay.

I have got a Xperia Z5 (EE) and I flashed it with the latest 3 Firmware and did a factory reset.

It just connects to the 800Mhz signal without me doing anything else.

So, I come home from school today and realise that I only had a bar of 3G/orange fallback 2G. Looked out the window and the three/EE Mast I'd say about 50 meters from my house is being upgraded. 2 men in high vis jackets feeding cables into the antennae. The antennae are quite chunky but hopefully as a three customer, I will have 4G coverage in my area soon. Work was planned for my postcode (CF42 6ED) for tomorrow and there have been work dates in the past with no result.
It's in a small village called Ynyswen in the Rhonnda Cynon Taff County in South Wales. EE has outdoor 4G here and three has no 4G here. Will it be both 3 and EE who gets 4G or just one of them?

Good news - all the VoLTE capable handsets.

Do we know if SuperVoice works on a PAYG SIM? Could be an interesting coverage test.

I was excited for a minute until I realised it literally tells us nothing.

Great! I can 'repurpose' the work phone (iphone 6) for a test alongside my EE iPhone 6, and my EE mbb SIM in my Huawei MiFi

The LG G4 remains the best device for testing 800MHz as it is the only device that let's you force LTE bands.

You know Three too well, it was meant to be 48 hours ago LOL

However I'd now guess about another few weeks (pure guess)

Looks like £289 or so and wrong time of year for that without some magic.

Hi

Then hopefully before Christmas day, Three may want to give us a Christmas present early.

Thanks for that. This would possibly explain why most on here are not able to actually use it? i.e. It's more widespread than they think?
Nearly everyone on here is saying they get full signal then it dies to nothing.
There must be a serious glitch somewhere.
Would be good if they could get it working properly. Give EE something to think about.
They still have that bloody stupid puppet at the bottom of the page though.
Am I seriously going to sign up with a company that says "When stuff sucks, make it right!"
Basic rule of business: If you suck, make it right but don't tell everyone you suck.
Come on Three, get the network sorted and get the advertising suited to people older than 6. My 10 year old Daughter thinks Jackson is really funny.
Problem? She doesn't have a credit card or bank account. Sort it out guys!!

EE's problems are more to do with dropped call rate I think.
They want it to work like 2G or 3G, it doesn't. We won't get it until it does.
Good call (although annoying). I'm not paying 38 quid per month for something that doesn't work!

Very interesting, considering that will be the mast over from the one that serves my parents place (in Ton Pentre).

Looking at the EE coverage map, it looks as if the mast already has EE 4G. I know for certain the mast nearer my parents does and the checker suggests the mast nearer Ynyswen does too. Three's map on the other hand shows significantly less 4G coverage around Ynyswen and the pattern looks like it is more likely spill over from the mast nearer my parents which does have Three 4G.

@Danny Jameson – Hi, we are looking to launch this for the LG G3 around the 16th November

http://blog.three.co.uk/2015/09/15/4...voice-is-here/

However, I suspect that is delayed now for 4 weeks or so.

Thanks, I mis-read, I thought you were referring to the iPhone update (which I am waiting for). Good to see some more handsets added.

Has Three changed the priority of their frequencies?

Since yesterday evening I haven't been able to connect to any forms of 4G and I am WFH today.
